Mcain's concession speech was good too.

Except you can totally see the difference between the supporters of the two parties. When Obama mentioned Mcain, Obama's supports clapped.

When Mcain mentioned Obama, Mcain supporters boo'd. When Mcain said that he would like help assist Obama in the future, people shouted, "Never!"

Yeah, well, that's what he gets for encouraging the low-ball election tactics the way he has been.

Still though, his speech was really good and I think he basically managed to get the point of "let's not be douches because we lost" across.

Seriously I don't think he would have been as bad as Dubya (Palin might've though). But his opponent was just better.

Like Z-Trip said: "All due respect to that guy, but I think he's old politics, and we need new politics."

Apparently Palin wanted to have a speech at McCain's concession but one of his advisers vetoed the request. I guess they realized they needed to ring her in ever since she started messing up the campaign and making statements without approval. What a mess that was. If we all think she's just going back to Alaska we're sadly mistaken ugh. We could only dream.

He shot himself in the foot selecting Palin as VP, she's a total incompetent.

Whats really sad about Palin is that she represents the republican base, its a real shame what happened to a rebuplican party that represented competence and professionalism not ignorance and social bigotry. If thats all they have to offer yet they still get a sizable proportion of the american electorate it really says some sad things about the dismal state of american politics and especially their education system. hahaha
