St. Louis wasn't really thrown into the boards though... he was thrown onto the ice.
As for being sore, hell ya... F@#$ers!!! I am sore... but they only lost cause I was rooting for them. Had I picked tampa... it would have had a different ending. Sorry Calgary. Oh well... no more hockey, gonna go smoke a doob... Peace |

^ Ya maybe the hit was clean, and maybe the fact st louis is small helped him embelish it a little, but the fact is he was thrown like right into the boards hard.
nad yes basically put Ference took a huge risk running that hit, and his gamble screwed his team over. |

A guy like Ference isn't exactly the brightest of the bunch. He's a thug. Or at least that's the was he plays. He saw the opportunity for a good defensive hit, and took it. He probably didn't plan to knock St. Louis quite that hard. Where would he get time in order to think about it. With all the action going on, Ference would have been thinking, gotta get the puck up ice, not gee I'd better play it safe and play ultra clean.
