In all my years of gymnastics I could never do the splits :( I tyred and tried and i think by my last year i was 2 inches off the ground.
Bev start by practicing your bridge, then stand up and bend backwards into a bridge, then try the back walkdover. If you can push your body up wtih your arms and do a front one, then a back one should be easy once you know how to look for the floor and do all those other things :P |

i look like i have mad abs, but i dont know why i can never flip my legs over. i have a fear of bashing my head on teh ground..so that doesn't help.
ONE DAY ONE DAY. lol when i think of doin the bridge.. i think *crack*....there goes my spine. |

well im drunk and i think that i cant do it, but at the same time i dould. Like i siad before alot of it has to do with being brave. I use to be able to do crazy jumps on the hgihest beam with out any fear... then this girl hurt her arm and i got all sensitive and full of fear. I quite a eyar later cus i lost all my bravery :(
Anyways i think you need to pucsh yoruself once in awhile to do soem darign things. Doing a back bend involves having very strong arms/guns practice practice... we should do coffee and back bends some time bev? |
