* c) Shall not permit public authorities or public institutions, national or local, to promote or incite racial discrimination.

Indeed so, but without careful scrutiny, the problems listed in sites such as stormfront will repeat over the course of history. There are alot of good people on that site aswell, and it starts by confronting the issues, not being discouraged because it seems depressing.

I see that you're very passionate about this topic diva.

I know in my case, and in the industry that I work in the color of one's skin, or difference in culture is irrelevant. I care for each person equally and without favortism, even if they are yelling racial slurs in my face, or spitting at my feet.

I think if more and more people try to embrace this type of attitude, perhaps one day... one day... we can dream about eliminating this awful hate. I try each day to teach this type of "thinking" to accept people for who they are, and learn a bit more about each other's cultures.

Wum is on my list of people to make note of but lets be realistic... admins are not on the site 24/7 and we don't look at every single post that is posted. If a user flags a thread/post for us to check out then we can go address that issue ASAP.

I take these issue you point out quite seriously and something will be done if required but you people must give myself or the other admins time to see if the content is questionable/offensive or not.

I hate all forms of hatred.
When I was little I was always the only black kid in my class. Actually pretty much my whole life I have been.

My little brother almost got arrested for robbing a 7-11 two years ago.
He was 15 at the time. The police didn't even apologize to him when they realized that he was in class when the surveillance tape they had was taken.

I could go on and on.

I say get him out of here. This is a rave/electronic music forum after all, so far I haven't seen any post anything to do with raves/electronic music. While I fully disagree with what he has to say, he is still entitled to his opinion on politics/religion/ race issues ect. The thing is, it's pretty apparent that he has nothing to contirbute when it comes to the electronic music scene, so pretty much he is on here doing nothing but debating political issues. And so far, this is only doing one thing... upsetting people. Maybe he should consider posting his views on a more appropriate forum, where it is serving to do more than just offend people.

Actually I keep close tabs under the Wum account and I do respond quickly to "Reported posts", much quicker then "Shoutouts" to fellow admins. Specially ones of your, uhhh caliber.

Understand his debates are not as much direct racism as they are fuel for it. I have warned him repeated in the past, and as such, something will be done.

However, none of his threads really push the barrier to the point you would get anything but a laughing response from our service provider. Grab a thought and click the report. This thread doesn't deserve two pages.

I think you are out to lunch on this one, where you write it off as "Jews" this article is dealing with Zionism, which is racist Jewry by definition. The article is at fault by using the hot button of a word "Jew" instead of "Zionist"...I'll give you that for certain.

Yet if you can get beyond the rhetoric, it's an important issue if one can understand it's complexity, unfortunately you are too emotional about this issue to lead to a sound conclusion at this time. You can't tell me that it's purely coincidental that there are so many film producers from Hollywood that happen to be Jewish, a majority of newspapers around the continent that happen to be owned by interests of Zionist institutions.

Let's go with this though, look into the ADL.

Realize what the truth is about being semetic, because the Arabs persecuted in Iraq right now our DEFINETLY semetic.

However, they are not Jewish. The Jews and Arabs have been fighting against each other for 1000s of years, and they are both semetic tribes. You never get to hear about anti-semetism against Arabs however, it only applies to the convert Russian bloodlines.

So go do some research and realize it is alot more of a complicated struggle than "the Jews". It is infact detailed to some extent in that report if you can mind the rhetoric. The issue I think Wum is concerned about here is that you are ignoring how in Canada we are being conditioned to accept a multicutural society, and what the downsides are to a "melting pot" scenario.

It belongs where ever one wants to debate it, that applies to fnk. Since there are guidlines here, Wum should accordingly see to it that he isn't enfringing them as there are enough sensitive individuals on this site that will take offence to such behavior.
