it's not THAT expensive. i pay 395/month. i live a five minute walk from english bay. the catch is that i live in a one bedroom with my roommate. i get the bedroom and we converted the dining area beside the kitchen into a room for him using a bamboo mat divider thing. it works out really well.

I hated livin' in the 'burbs, never gonna get sucked back. So nice to be able to stumble home in mere minutes from anywhere downtown.
