it never cost $18 - it's been $30-$40 bucks for the last 8 years... and besides, all warped succeeds in doing is making it so that bands you might want to see in a real concert play a half ass set for half an hour and don't come back to town again unless it's with the warped tour cause they figure they've already toured through your town. Kinda annoying.

i think its 40 at ticketmaster now, thats what i paid anyways. last year was my first and i had an awsome time, definatly looking forward to this year. at least i know whats going on like bands im going to see and stuff cuz ive gotten into that in the last year.

Cause for the longest time I've always wanted to go to this but I never end up acually going!

4th of July, probably at T-bird - has been last two times. Too bad they couldn't do it outdoor at the PNE again, twas a cool spot. And I think you mean to ask "Who are the bands there that are worth listening to?" Most of the little bands (with some exceptions) really blow and there aren't even that many great headliners this year (for a tour of this size of course).

Rancid - still my personal fave although they haven't actually toured vancouver in 8 years (see rant above).

Pennywise - always good

Mad Caddies - very original/good sound, the horn players kick ass - easily the best horns in a punk band i've seen.

Face to Face - used to be fukin awesome but got really lame. will most likely play all the new lame crap.

Suicide Machines - I can't really remember but i think they're good

Dropkick Murphy's - so so

But OMG, make sure you don't miss Live on Release - they went to my high school (7 years later of course cause i'm old and they're like 16) and man do they suck. Apparently they got booed off the stage at our battle of the bands. Could be funny to watch though.
