Huh? Raves aren't mainstream?

And trust me, the c of v HAS lightened up considerably for this...can't you remember times when that venue was absolutely not allowed to be utilized for all night events like raves?

all I hear in here is fuckin bitching about lineups...well guess what? Thats what raves are all about. If you can't hack it DON'T GO! And if you aren't going...then shut the fuck up!!! And if you're whinning about the cost, then maybe you should've bought tickets when they were cheaper. Lineups are always fun. Trust me I've been going to raves for the past 10 years and I've never been to a rave where there wasn't a lineup, and if there was a lineup the party usually sucked ass!!! Why do you think there are lineups jackass? It's because who's in the damn party. Now suck it up and stand in the lineup because it's always worth it!!!

The most we have ever had at a show was back at the PNE Colesium for Spooky 6... Something like 5400 people! That was amazing looking out off the main stage and just seeing a sea of people... going off like crazy!
That was a dope party but it sucked that 2 kids died and signum didn't show up. And the breaks room was 2 hot.

OK as always I feel a need to put my two cents in. First if you do not intend on going to this party leave this thread as in my opinion your opinion doesn't matter as you will not be there anyways. Second if you want to go out to a Plaza Party you have to expect a little bit of a line-up anytime. As far as barking on the city and fire marshall I think that unless you really know what you are tlking about you shouldn't say anything either. It has taken alot of patience and understanding from not only this city's promoters but the city themselves to get it to this point. I know it's not where we would like to see it thus far but the City and the firm marshall has alot more other people to answer too than just the people in these pages. God forbid anything ever goes wrong with an event at the Plaza but the people that have to answer for it are the police, fire and city of which all are liable for a legal law suit. Please keep in mind that behind all the smoke lights sound and dj's there is a buisness that must operate and safety measures that must not only be met but exceeded for everyone to be hapy. Does the "RAVE" scene need to be treated with a little more respect by these other entities? I think yes but it takes time. The concerns that people bring up are generally something that has already been brought up or is currently in discussions to being changed. PLease keep in mind at all times that the promoters and/or producers of such events are working deligently to provide bigger and better shows but some things they just can not control. Change is good but rapid change scares old people.

It was way better when it was that packed, and they were allowed to have louder sound system's then to. When i went to fusion dreams it seemed pretty empty.

Ya but not everyone wants to spend that much for a rave ticket to see the same old lights and lazers again.

^^wow can you feel the plur *oops* i meant love in this thread.

An Open reply to all the negative nellies in this thread...

you know, you don't know me and i don't know you but have
you ever heard of this funny thing called Manners....

oh wait that's right Ignorance is Bliss and if you're ignorant
then you don't have to act like a human being. hhmmmmm.

didn't your mother ever teach you right and tell you...
"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all" ??

when you can put on a $150K plus rave and do it right
like Twisted and Swing Kids, well then you can bitch...

but until then why not try some of those darn-fangled
things they call manners. i'm sure you could look it up
on Google www.google.com ( ;) ) just type in Manners,
or maybe Common Courtesy or Conscientiousness.

Bye! and thanks to all those hard working promoters
who have to put up with some foolish crap!! You do
so much and sometimes get so little. So here's my nod to
you ahead of time. I can say I can do what you do, but if I
acutally had to do it, that would be another story, wouldn't it!!
like my mom always said "It's easier said then done" that works
on so many levels!! and no i don't say i can do what you do! :)

ha, there's my two cents!
