^ good advice. RAY! this is a new years rave, its gonna be a really really long lineup if u don't come somewhat.

If you have to lineup i would come fairly early say around 7:30-8pm? its pretty early but you'll be happy when doors open an dyou aren't at the very end of the line

It depends on what time you get there... The earlier the better to be honest especially if you are planning on being there for the countdown. You can appreciate that with it being New Years and to make sure all of our party attendees are safe, that the necessary security will be at the door. A FULL compliment will be there though and searching will conducted as quickly and efficiently as possible.

--- This won't be the case as we have anti-counterfeit measures on ALL tickets. Now that being said though, it is HIGHLY recommended you get there as early as possible because the Fire Marshall and Police Chief do have over-riding authority at the door. What the means is if they look in the venue and they feel it's full, EVEN IF OUR COUNTERS ARE NOT TO CAPACITY, the will and can shut the doors down and there is NOTHING we can do about it. Having said that, get in as early as you can to avoid any complications.

I hope that answers your questions!

Cheers.

Sorry dude for saying this, but that is a horrible attitude to have IE: not to go to a party due to how long the line is?

I am not suggesting Tux buy a VIP ticket to our show to "fix the problem" more so stating that is a very close-minded statement to make...

yea i know.. the real reason im not going tho is cause i can't afford the $80 ticket price.. lineup is just a small contributing factor, being that i don't wanna wait outside in mid winter for over an hour.

get fucked. but first, read this : http://www.fnk.ca/board/showthread.php?threadid=38668
read that line-up. now re-read it.
unfortunately the realistic thing is, it costs money to bring in outsiders, light, sound, staff, security, bla h,blah, blah, simple as that. Just because you can't afford it doesn't justify putting plaza down.
plaza has it's ups and downs just like any other venue. if nothing else, visuals are great, you'll meet a couple new people, and (OH MY GOSH) get a chance to experience some foreign talent you otherwise wouldn't get a chance to see

second, you're bitching about standing around outside in 5 degree weather?! get real. it's called a coat check for a reason.

^you ever see your favorite band in concert. was it worth the price?
how do millions of people shell out money for cigerettes every day, 100$'s of dollars for metallica, britney spears, eminem, etc et, tickets and shows around the world?

a plaza is an experience all of it's own, it's a massive, a doorwar to those past memories lies within each new encounter.

yada yada yada yada

Thanks for all the positive support everyone... A LOT of the talent that we have brought in before, people like AvB, Krafty Kuts, Vinylgroover, DJ Antoine, John OO and many more love the venue too! -- As do we of course. However, we have to remember, massives aren't for everyone... I TOTALLY respect that having been to every which kind of party there is... Hell... I miss house parties!

Those arriving at 11PM will have absolutely no problem in getting in. It is those choosing to arrive at say 4-5AM that may/may not have challenges simply because it will be up to the Fire Marshall at that point. The show without a doubt is set to sell out now... as I have mentioned in previous threads though, the Fire Marshall has over-riding authority and thus complete control of the door. So what that means is, if you come at 5AM and the fire marshal says the place is full, then you will be denied entry... it's as simple as that!

Yeah... it's actually the City as well. It's funny... the minute an event takes on the classification of "Rave" or "all night dance party" at that venue, it reduces the capacity to virtually half of what that venue is capable of! IE: remember back in the day when we had 4000+ people there!!!

^^ Yeah man... I remember with close to 5000 people at that show!

The most we have ever had at a show was back at the PNE Colesium for Spooky 6... Something like 5400 people! That was amazing looking out off the main stage and just seeing a sea of people... going off like crazy!
