well being a UBC student I've gone every year. The bands always suck shit ( except there is DeLaSoul this year ), but the techno room is always bouncing.
Plus I think some FNK Dj's are spinning...?

When I went to this when I was younger it fucking SUCKED.
People barfing on themselves, fucking on the barfy ground, spilling liquor allover me in the pit, people about to vomit on me in the pit. sounds like fun :sick: I really want to see de la soul though :( Maybe if I'm one of the drunken asses it won't be so bad!

As most people have commented, this event usually REAAAALLLY sucks ass. Do not go to it sober. THe only time i ever enjoyed myself was my first ACF, which was 1998, and econoline crush was on the bill. I was young, stupid and liked everything. They keep hiring these gay ass bands, and now, hip hop groups. Sooo stupid. I hate wide mouth mason. I hate hip hop. And they only seem to hire house djs? WTF! Its like disrespecting the entire turntable community to not have at least 1 trance dj and 1 DnB dj. I say, let them play trance on main stage. People would like it. People would dance. ANd do u know why? Because you can force a huge mob to do whatever you want, especially when they are drunk. Maybe this would finally trigger the dance revolution and all that incredibly crappy music they play on the radio and on much sucking music would finally go AWAY!
I have been pissed off with the organization of ACF for years. That being said, ill probably go just to hang with my friends. BUT IT STILL SUCKS BIG TIME. HIP HOP DOES NOT DESERVE MAIN STAGE. Cause those people look really akward and silly.

The Ataris were supposed to be there. Then they cancelled their Canadian tour and they were replaced with....Andrew W.K. WTF?!
So. no. I will not be there. Not even for De La Soul. Every year people come back with bad stories. Rain. Mud. Too drunk to even remember the bands. I will NOT be there.

Im there, drinking for two. I dont remember most of last years art county fair, all I know is it ended up costing me about a grand. i lost my brand new cell phone, 50 bucks, my sunglasses, my sanity (driinkin does that to you!) and yah. whoopah, goodtimes. haha. Im gonna be a lil better this year
