I dont know how suddenly me being a total Solid Event Promoter came into play WHEN ive sold my share of tickets for Twisted parties aswell...
I just stated anything that has been announced to date...ive attened spooky once becuase the past years I just wasnt in the mood for raving.
Its a tradition which I do agree on... they have been within the scene for almost 10 solid years, props to that btw, but simply saying from a persons point of view... look at whats been handed to convince people (note allot of which are NON party people just looking for a good time...)
If anything im promoting both comapnys with that one post by telling people to resell the ticket if theyre not satisfied with the likes of the party, if anything its a neutral comment. Also its only a message board (I dont know how this post is Promotional...from what I know the only Promotional posts are the official posts under the Events threads)... A message board is a message board, one may post their opinion, its a free post as I look at it for posting (as I see this thread, its a neutral thread where I decided to say something that wasnt too relevant with the Subject) its not like I go on the Twisted threads and praise Solid parties... if anything I probably have given in a comment or 2 about the party... (if not well if because I simply havnt really had the time to read though several pages of posts :p)
I will be attending both parties, becuase I am not completely supporting just one company, but 2. So Kraig, as a Twisted represenative, you shouldnt be posting up stuff like that gives other represenatives of other companys that I and others are affilated with a bad outlook onto you as a person, because ive never had a problem with you or any company or anyone in general. As a dj spinning at Doomsnight I will promote the event cause I like to see peopel going off...you as a dj know that feeling as well. No beef, just fun times...the above was just stating my postion and why this post I will not edit cause i am simply not afraid as a person to express what one has to say...
other than that... Halloween weekend will be one that you wont forget.

I was a bit miffed at your response as clearly Cherrios first post was asking a simple question - "is spooky happening this year" to which you responded, "buy a ticket for both parties?" -- That's kind of a silly thing frankly. I would never go into a Solid thread where someone has asked, "when is the Spooky venue and line-up going to be announced" and reply, "it doesnt' matter when, buy tickets to both!"

You are right that you are entitled to your own opinion... as am I which is why I replied with what I did, stating what I said. It seemed several others agreed as well.

As for questioning my professionalism... granted my response may have been somewhat harsh but those that run other companies or know me, know that I conduct all of Twisted's business with professionalism and intelligence.

Simply put, have some respect for threads associated with there own topic. This has been said a million times on FnK to tons of others that have attemped to promo a party/club night in a thread associated with another party.

I dont really want to go into detail, so ill leave it were it is. On the other hand i agree, i was just pissed with the way it was replied to, if you were to whip out some type of response like that earlier...it woulda caused less bickering. Its all good though. Its all the choice for the people to which party they will attend. Either or...it will be a good night regardless.

News flash Solid Corp has posted it's financial result recently (don't know where though but it's on FnK) for their most recent show IMF2004. I would say that with the amount of talent they brought out for that show was more than enough than just for money. Perhaps it was to show case new talent that hasn't been before. Ever think of it like that?
