yea i think there should be some sort of age cut off thing...like 16 or 17
it is really disturbing to see young kids at parties.... i know if i had gotten into raving when i was 12 i would have done it for all the wrong reasons (getting to stay out late and get fucked up) its important to rave responcibly.....and at that age, unless you're really mature, its hard to do that, cuz you're just out looking for a good time (im not saying this applies to everyone, obviusly) |

i think the main reason a much younger crowd is coming to these parties now is cuz they find flyers/posters all around town and they just think it sounds like fun |

At most raves a majority of the people do drugs at them, and for some stupid reason encourage it. Now tell me this oh wise chodaboy. Would a 12 year old be able to say no to an older crowd who are enthusiastically encouraging to do drugs. Especially when everyone is already high and sweating ecstacy off of their bodies. Seriously a 12 year old can't m ake the greatest decisions, that should be enough reason for them not to be there in the first place. Its bad enough that 14 years old act like idiots at parties, and ruin it for alot of people, you chodaboy are just trying to stick for every goddamn kid who raves. Face it you'll try and come up with a reason that anyone can rave. Just for your information its not the age its the fact that most 12 year olds cannot make sound decisions, especially when influenced by an older and most likely drugged up crowd. I hope you actually read this, and understand it. |

I canNOT believe there is someone out there that actually thinks a 12 year old should have rights to get fucked up and dance until morning without having the brain capacity to get a fake go card or id..
You can always make age limits...the ones that really want to party and are smart enough will find a way.. |

ya, but putting an age limit on things will just make gettin into parties even harder, cuz all younger people will still try to come...what are they gonna do, ID people at the door...
what if a person is of age, but doesnt have any ID with them, i know tons of ppl that leave their wallets and shit at home, and just bring cash |

hehehe...They should have a "kiddie room" at parties if the kids are gonna come...chuck 'em all in there with some cookies and milk...
I know 20 year olds that shouldn't be at raves little less 12 year olds... If a little kid wants to dance to that sort of music I am cool with it...hell, I used to dance to old electronica back when I was a wee one. They should do it at school dances or at their own house though...Raves are largely based on drug culture, and until you are old enough and informed enough to participate responsibly in that culture, you should not be there. Then again, it is the parent's responsibility to control their kids actions until they leave the roost. |

yes
i think it also depends on what kind of party it is shambhala and intention were more of a family friendly kind of party because they had actual places for kids and why do you think all the kids will be offered drugs i can speak from expierience that only sketchy drug dealers want to give drugs to a kid and make money and THEY are the ones who should be kept out of raves so why not get rid of the drugs instead of the kids? |
