i've never seen an 18+ party on the island, or even in van...only places that i've seen are clubs...but still u have underagers with fake ID's going

I was going to raves between 99'-02'. I quit because my G\F got pregnant. Now my son is 3yrs and there is no way he is going to a rave when he is 12. 16 mabey if i think he is responsible enough. I've recently started attending raves again and I believe the younger crowd is coming because of the media attention that the scene is getting now. If it wasn't plastered all over CTV and in the papers they wouldn't know so much and be so interested in it.

I know some 15 year olds who are more mature than most 18-20 year olds.. So who gets to decide if they are "too young" to go to a rave? I thought that raves are a place where you can feel accepted and have fun? I didn't know it was about drugs and prejudice... judging someone on their age is a form of discrimination... i know when I was 15-16 years old I loved to dance for the sake of danceing... nothing to do with drugs. I don't think that ppl should be judged by how old they are, but on how mature they are. Aren't raves for everyone?

No it isn't a 15 year old is in a middle school or junior school where as a 12 year old is still in grade 7 and the maturity level grows alot from elementary school to high school you know.

You were talking about whats wrong with 12 year olds. I'll tell you again whats wrong they can't make sound judgement calls.

They can't easily tell whats right and whats wrong, a 14 year old or 15 year old can already tell usually whats right and wrong i.e: If there gonna smoke weed or not most can easily decides yes or no.

A 12 year old it would be a mixed reaction with everything you ask them.

Face it a 12 year old should not be at a rave, maybe if supervised but even than they shouldn't be. Its not candy land. Its a place full of ugly surprises.

^ ya but its a gathering right not a rave, or party. Especially with parties these days. The amount of crap thats been added and the theme of the parties, even though it might be a good theme to start with it always end up being taken over by doing drugs and etc...
