Girls: Liquid or Pencil???

What kind of eye liner do you use? Liquid or Pencil? What brand and what are the differences you have noticed???
I just bought one from cover girl and have noticed that it likes to rub off just under the bottom of my eye (not attractive)

So whats your fav???

ummm probally NYC.....it applies nicely...i dont like bonne bell eyeliner.....its to hard to apply...its like a pencil crayon.....covergirl i like.......depending on the weather lol (if its to hot it tends to smudge)

I'm all over Marcelle's waterproof pencil liner as it is hypoallergenic and great for sensitive eyes. I usually only use liquid eyeliner on the outer edge of my eyes, but I don't have any preference except for hypoallergenic products.

Mac's Black eye shadow.

It does the job and looks just as good. imo.

I have a pencil, liquid and a one of those twisty push up liners lol

But I like never wear that stuff... so I dont really know what would be a prefrence or favorite.

i use both..depending on how big of a rush i'm in and wut is closest to my reach..

laura mercier has a nice pencil one and my liquid one is some brand called marbella..

shiseido liquid eyeliner.. i have expensive shit cause my mom sells them in her store so i dont have to pay :P

i love it, nice and black and it can go as thin or as thick as you want

i use pencil eyeliners cause when you apply liquids they always look like you've applied eyeliner. with pencil you can like work it in and it doesn't look so.."i've got eye liner on". dont really have a preference on which brand i like, just not covergirl [i dont like their packaging lol]

Not liquid, not pencil, but a self-"sharpening" stick.

And it seriously lasts for up to 48 hours...crazy colorstay action.

I have been using Anabelle pencil eye liner for 6 years and it is the best. I only use liquid liner if im wearing fake eye lashes.

I like mac for the top and bodyshop for the bottom...mac's make-up tends to be rich and creamy...where as bodyshop eye liner is more waxy and stays where you put it all day and still goes on nice, but not as rich~

If you use a pencil, I highly reccomend using a smudger to soften the line. And if you use a liquid, the best way to apply it is to rest the tip on your lashes and drag..using you lashes as a guide for smooth seamless application:)

I just LOVe doing make-up...but not wearing it, it makes you feel like you need it after a while*

Depending on the look I want, I use:

Liquid: MAC in Boot Black
Pencil: MAC in Ebony
Shadow: MAC in Black Tied

I often use the pencil or the liquid w/ the shadow on top (applied with angled brush). Using MAC's Paint in Bare Canvas helps make liner (and eyeshadow) stay put.

i use the maybelline great wear eyeliner.. i could never wear liquid, hands just not co-ordinated to be steady like that.

^ try using the pencil eyeliner first then trace it with the liquid eyeliner. thats what i have to do cause i suck at putting liquid eyeliner on.
