stories not matching up (a poem...)

[Breezy]

jus some random feelings on life~ the good the bad n shit.....

poetry of~
silent waters screaming
echoes bouncing off walls
crippling bricks and washing out
colours fade into
black, grey, white
flags rise to the air
countries sing
all in unison

and we stand
seeing only
the ones clipped on
the ones lying on dusty grounds
etched out to a perfect circle
beings of hunger, of rage
refreshing their thirst
quenched by the summer rains

and falling onto swollen lakes
of summer hunger
drowning plants, welted roses
all whine and weep
knowing too little
dismissing the lush green
and turn into a perfect circle
with letters not matching up
turning their shady faces
to the salty seas
while ferns remain tall
leaves reaching forward
not turning back
at the present confusion...
illusions, allusions~ move on

breezy u should make a book of all your poems...
seriously, i have tonnes of poetry books at home & at work, and the works in those aren't 1/2 as good as stuff like what u just wrote...

and i'm not just saying that... it's amazing the things that get published, u should really give it some thought...

i have a couple publisher connections too, eheh...

not a bad idea!.. Ive gotta huge collection of poems laying around here... I'd love to illustrate them too :)..
it'd be a long shot gettin things published tho wouldn't it?

sadly, it is primarily a WHO u know industry...
but it's also a WHO KNOWS industry sometimes... u can get books that have lists of all the publishers in canada, throw a couple hundred samples out, and WHO KNOWS right? i remember having to do a newspaper article for writing class once, and submit it to a buncha papers in BC, and i got published in the georgia straight, so WHO KNOWS...
and i mean, there's like a million published books in BC that are about some redneck guy's vacation to surrey... seriously... i think you should have a go at it...

i'm looking at a poetry book rite now, it's like 40 pages long and all the poems are about roads and trees... $20 for the damn book... i'm glad i didn't have to pay for it, but apparently some people will....

give it a shot, or at least look into it..... and stop disappearing from f&k for long periods of time, ppl were worried about u
