the moment you know when you're in-love?

like in what situation or moment of introspection do you figure, "i'm in love with ____"?

it's so easy to feel, so tough to analyze and rationalize.
i suppose it's not supposed to be rationalized.

Sometimes I think you really don't know you love someone till they're gone... then you realize that it's not really love, it's more so that you miss the fact that they're there because now you have no one to really be close to, then you overthink the situation and it's constantly on your mind, and you feel as if you really (did) love that person.

Love is pain, run away kids... run very far away, and quickly!!

I'm probably too skeptical to believe in love, I would over analyze the situation and my emotions to come to some sorta conclusion as to how I feel about that.

I think love is like this. When you extract the caring, the infatuation, and everything else found in "TV Love" and you're brought right down to bickering/panting, despising and hissing, but you still worry about someone. THAT'S love. why do i think this?

Relationships move in stages, and if you can survive past the initial flame, and love without being dependent (what lesley was crapping on about) there's a whole new phase of acceptance, understanding and tolerance that illustrates love in a way that movies can't capture. Well, maybe in those characters where there are two old couples who bitch at one another and argue all the time. but when one dies or goes sick, the other doesn't leave their side come hell or high water.

Your love for a friend could equal your love for a significant other. after all, a g/f or b/f is basically a best friend with benefits. We just gotta figure out who we Love as a friend or as a lover. That distinction borders and fine line and that's where everyone gets hurt. you rush into a friendship, hold hands, the flame goes away and you feel betrayed and offended. but ONE DAY LESLEY AND CHRISTINE, you two will find someone you can tolerate. and by george, you two will be happy. As long as you don't fight it (as i assume you probably will), things will be smooth sailing.

I dunno... I'm kinda mixed on how I feel about how you figure it out.

cause I thought I had fell into it.. and belived I did.. but didn't know if it was for sure or just lust?! then when I lost the person.. I was crushed and felt like shit.. worst feeling EVER!

i think in movies like pollock, and since it was based on the life it's easier to convey. j.pollock and lee krasner totally disagreed, and he treated her spitefully. she put away her work for his. maybe it was the love that kept them together, more probably it was the inter-dependance.

i think the "tv stage" is what i think of the honeymooner stage, it's bliss, and really just a frontal relationship.

it's easy to speculate, but it's much tougher to live and love, yet i'm still at square one.

Love is a commitment of the will. Real love inspires people to higher hights. It makes people stronger. You know it, and you recognize it, and you can appreciate it more when you do. This is what I learned, and what I have experienced. It is such a mystery, and it can be so powerful. It's like something new springs up inside you that you never thought possible, and you never know how you managed to live without it, because it becomes a part of you.

i think part of .love. is the mystery, inspiration, but also determination. i'll try to take your subtle advice, and recognize.

Love is something that just happens... that you just know at that moment with that person. It may be a spark, a look, a warm feeling. It can be anything.

It's not to be analyzed or rationalized, cuz then you'd be doubting it. And then, you'll make love into a confusing situation, when in fact it's supposed to be simple.

Love is hard to let go, and when it's gone it's forever missed.

The one time it happened to me I literally sat up in bed in the middle of the night and realized "holy shit, I'm totally in love with him."

Of course, it took me a lot of time before I had the courage to come forward and say it, but it was like the only thing on my mind. I remember we were having some stupid argument about something little and I just burst out "I LOVE YOU!!"..it was just like a ben affleck movie :P

i think love (when the word is said) is thrown around alot.
a lot people truely don't know what the word actually means.
love is something special. it's a feeling you can share with someone and it should be said when you mean it.

yeah, love is sometimes an over-used expression, used in compensation for other words such as like or lust. there's not enough proverbs in my lexicon.

anyway, i try to say it only when i mean it, like i love food, i love my mom. etc etc.
