grandma's first anniversary without grandpa

well today err yesterday would have been my grandparents 58th wedding anniversary .. but my grandpa passed away in may.


i dont think ive ever seen my grandma so sad


... has anyone else had a situation like this ??

I'm not looking forward to that day for my mom.

My dad passed away in June and my family seems to be taking it well, but a significant date like that can let the emotions go.

I was just sorting out emails at home and I came across one from February of this year talking to my sister how I never got a chance to join in on a family vacation and how I thought I should have set something up.

I thought I had lots of time and just a few months later in June my chance was gone.

Reading that email just made me feel... well.. sorrow.. as I didn't get off my ass and do something.

I feel for you and your grandmother. Just try to remember the happy times and as long as you remember your grandfather then he will always be alive.

Only when you forget is he really gone.
