speaking of cancer........
you know what sucks?!?!?
knowing that you have very very high chances of getting cancer. :( me and my mom were talking about this the other day....its something i hadnt thought about in awhile, until my mom metoioned that her friend is passing away from it. my great grandmother had cancer my grandma had cancer my aunt had cancer im the next girl in line. im not saying that i'm not being optimistic ... cause i am. who knows?! i may be 100% ok my entire life. but it does worry me a little bit

i have the same kind of line as you
... but well ive already had it .. but also once you've had it you are more likely to get it again ... i think (this was a stat from a few years ago) .. it was either 1 in 4 people get cancer or 1 in 4 people that have cancer die .. im not sure it's been a while since ive looked up some stats

the dr told my mom that i should be very very careful, if i notice changes with anything, due to the high amount of cancer, and the types of cancer that are in my family line.
im very aware that i could one day get it, but...when/if that happens you deal with it, usually, if noticed quick enough, cancer is curable. or treatable. its all about not going to the dr's or thinking it will go away, that is the real problem...

No sense in worrying something that's already been determined, or something that you MIGHT have a chance of getting. You step outside your house, you have a chance that you MIGHT get hit by a car, you MIGHT get hit by lightning, you MIGHT meet the girl or guy of your dreams. Life's all about chance, whoopdeedo.
Everyone dies, cancer is just a more determined path of death.

everyone on this fucking board is going to die of lung cancer. even if they don't smoke i'm sure most of u find yourselves in smokey rooms a lot. four ppl with me right now are smoking. fucking idiots. no offence smokers. :) :smoke1:

I have a VERY high risk of getting cancer:014:... I have 3 spots on my body that can give me cancer... if exposed to sunlight. one is visible to all.. and it sucks.. everyone that has seen me before has seen it.. its on my neck.. and some of you ppl assume its a hickie.. when its a cancer spot.. I have another behind my ear and another on the top of my head. I'm at risk every day when the sun is out.. for all I know I could be dying right now.. cuase its hard to not expose it to sunlight.. unless I cover it up(the one on my neck)! I also just found the one behind my ear last year.. so yeah.. thats not to great.. but THANX GAWD its not contagious, these spots.. oi so yeah, krista its not that bad.. trust me on this.. you may have a chance of catching it cause of genes.. but anyone can in they're family.. atleast you dont have the things to get it started on you already... cause for all you know. you have not caught those genes from your family.. yeah.. this is seriously geigh.. but life goes on.. why worry? yeah I hate this subject :014:

^why the long face?
we cant let things like this get in our way with life.. we have to move on.. yeah its a risk, but it should be a risk were all willing to takes.. I rather live a life I have enjoyed and die young then to live till I'm old and to have not lived at all.
