To prevent hangovers, alternate drinking water or a non-alcoholic drink with the booze at a one to one ratio. Alcohol dehydrates the body and the headaches of a hangover are a symptom of dehydration.
The nausea and vomiting is a natural reaction to consuming a known poison. Personally I never get hangovers, unless you count feeling nauseous and vomiting about 20 minutes later a hangover. I call it reacting to the poison. Last edited by jenai; Jan 29, 08 at 04:31 PM. |

I dont know what I do most of the time before i go to bed drunk because i cant remember, but I guess im smart enough to always have water near by where I wake up. I must be doing something right or im just blessed cuz I never get hangovers. Ive had about 15-25 since I started my drinking "career" lol in grade 9. I'll be 20 in march.

Unless you're getting single shots of vodka in a tall glass of water, you're probably not getting enough to hydrate yourself. And who the hell wants to drink water+vodka all night? ew. |
