your whole problem is that you are not willing to alter your lifestyle though :P
if you really want to do a cleanse, it's better to change things and keep healthy habits. there's no point in doing a cleanse just to go back to the same old things in the first place. some ideas - cut out artifical sweeteners, colours and chemicals from what you eat - eat healthy and make a commitment to try to do it as much as possible. don't write off the idea of completely depriving yourself of 'treats', just try to cut down with them. - once you're eating healthy, try food combining: Food combining (I personally have noticed a huge difference when I did this) - exercise. keep fit and have fun! I'm not sure if yoga really freaks you out, but postures involving twists naturally detoxify the body when done properly. Here's a link to some postures you can try at home. Be very careful that you have a strong core to support your back in some of these and that you are not allowing your tummy to flop. Breathe very deeply nose to mouth into the part of the body that you feel opening up while doing the twist. Yoga Journal - Poses: Seated & Twist Poses also, i do hot yoga 3x a week and really appreciate its detoxifying qualities. think about what it would be like doing cardiovascular exercise in a sauna. think about what you could sweat out! in short: eat well and exercise, eat well and exercise, eat well and exercise :) |

bath with water as hot as you can handle it.
1 gallon epsom salt-add it to the bath then poor like 4 or 5 bottles of rubbing alcohol on yourself. get in the bath and stay in there for 45min. beside cutting like 5lbs or more of water weight, ull wake up shredded and it cleans out ur cells too. |

I'm not in poor health, I can just tell now that I'm active again after a long winter of being cramped in the cab of a truck for 84h/week that my body needs a purge before it will improve at all. A clean slate, so to speak. Also, I've been looking into yoga lately. I plan on giving it a shot once I'm settled into my new work schedule. Last edited by tiedye; Apr 27, 08 at 03:04 PM. |

If you're trying to detox, make sure to drink pure water and take vitamins. Sauna works well, as does exercise. Try to get some sunshine while you go out and stay away from sweets, unless they are natural. Mangos, oranges, and other foods rich in vitamins should be eaten daily.
For a while, I was taking the herbal rose detox kit, but it didn't do much for me. The best detox I got was also combined with diet. It's important to cut down on allergens such as milk, soy, and berries. Also, try to limit your exposure to chemicals in your food and in your daily life. I never feel as sick as I do when I'm around paint fumes or cigarette smoke. There are so many tricks to detox. Even saunas require that you naturally cool down the first couple times before jumping into a cold shower. Drink water before during an after, and weigh yourself before and after. You shouldn't lose weight in a sauna. Avoid tanning salons. Avoid Ice cream, but reward yourself when you're feeling better. There are some serious red light foods like peanuts and raisins that would better left out of your diet (unless they are organic) Always say "no," to butter and mayonnaise. You don't need it! Drink when your thirsty, eat small meals before 10pm. That's all I can say. |

nope.
thats why the bath is so legit. it sucks out all the subcutaneous water, while allowing the body to retain its intramuscular water. the rubbing alcohol in a bath is an old school muscle relaxing trick, but it also opens up all our poors hardcore. When you add Epsom Salt to the bath, it makes a gradient in the water, and through passive diffusion the salt concentration in the water is higher than the salt concentration in the body, so water passes from the body out into the water in the bathtub the opposite of when you stay in a tub to long and prune up :) |
