*holy Shit... My Sister Is Getting Married*

Wow... i just got off the phone with my sister who is in Venice. (backpacking in Europe for 6 weeks with her boyfriend) She says she has good news: her boyfriend of 2 years asked her to marry him.
Holy shit.
I am so happy for her, because he is totally the love of her life, and he is a good guy. Kinda goofy, but super smart, really caring, and has a total future set for him ra ra ra. They are like soul mates.
But this whole thing just totally makes me realize how fast we have grown up. We have always been really close, I remember my sister and I talking when we were kids about how one day I'd be her bride's maid, and it seemed so far far away. But now, it's the present and here I am, listening to her tell me how Nate proposed. Christ, it makes me realize how time really does fly.
I'm excited and happy for her, but at the same time, kind of sad. We aren't kids anymore...
I guess that's what scares me.

Congrats to ur sis addy!!...thats so awesome...it does make u think of how much older we are then we think we are...both my older sisses have bfs and my 2nd sis and her bf have already talked about their wedding and stuff as a joke rite but its like they are early planing and harsh gonna go thru with it all...i feel they are like soulmates....its cool...but just thinking..like u said..u and ur sister use to talk about ur future weddings and stuff rite??..so did mine..liek we all know wut type of dresses and stuff..its funny..but to realize that its gonna happen in the near future..it is freaky..it lke yesterday u were just playing wedding..now..someone u played with is really the bride...reflecting life..gotta luv it..yeah!...addy's gonna be a bridesmaid..hehe..:Lazee:

Congrats to your sister Addy.

My younger sister got married last August and I was SO happy for her. We were pretty close and I miss her since I don't get to see her as much as I used to.

I never really thought about marriage and my sister told me there is no way she was going to get married before I did. Well things didn't work out for me so she decided to get married the year I was supposed to to keep family spirits up.

Cherish the moment my dear, it only comes once in a lifetime.

hm.. maybe it's just meeh.. but meeh and my sis never had talks bout getting married and stuff.. we pretty much hated each other when we were little.. then alotta shit happened.. it's kinda weird.. cuz now we're friends and stuff..

i always thought that like.. playing weeding/those talks were always tv kinda things for some reason.. mm.. guess they actually happen when u have good relationships with ur sibs.. hm..

but back on topic.. big congrats 2 ur sis.. and have fun being the bridesmaid addy.. =]

me and my bro are pretty close... just a year apart. im older.. and i could NEVER imagine either one of us getting married. hes too picky and me, i suck at relationships. i know if my some screwed up chance one of us does, i would be so sad.. cuz i know then we would grow apart. really makes you feel grown up eh addy? kinda like, "whoa... well will i get married?" i mean im sure the thought HAS to of crossed your mind hearing about your sister.. its kinda like my cousin.. shes having a kid in august... really scary to think of it actually cuz i can think back to like when i was 12 and she was first dating her bf (now husband) and we always bugged her about when she was gonna have a kid.. and now shes having one..

hey man. what would the lil kid call me? would i be an auntie or cousin or what? i would be one of those aunts that try to corrupt the kid and turn it into a lil mini version of me.. hehe i have a neighbout and we used to dress him up all "skater-ish" and he's only 5, and hes a pretty good at boarding now.. its so cute *off topic*

i know how u feel girl... my brother is getting married next summer. i thought that boi would never get married... the girl he met was his first...first g/f, first love. i juss couldn't believe it... but i'm happy for him i guess... i have nothing in common with his fiance though... i guess if he's happy, then i'm happy:D:

Stabby: Hmm.... yeah I guess I have thought about the fact of me growing up, and all that marriage stuff. It's scary, cause my sister and her boyfriend started going out when they were 18... and now their engaged!!! I mean, that's only about a year away from my age now!! It would just be freakish to think that should I meet anyone anytime soon (god willing) that we would be together... forever??
