what do YOU want?
i don't know what i want in life......like school is goin to be over in like a year and i don't know what i plan to do after that or where i'm goin to go? how would you know what you want and don't want? it seems like pretty easy that you should know exactly what you want but it's like a problem for me......i don't know where i wanna go after graduation, or what i wanna get into, or even the easiest thing to choose from. i just get all confused and can't make up a decision to where i'm goin to be heading............?

Oh Ainslie i know what u are feeling i'm really confused about what i want too, i don't even know where am i in life .Gurlie i think we are much to young to know that , i think we are still going through stuff that will help us discover what we want.
I hate not knowing what i want especail when it comes to skool , i'm so scared that i'm going to fuck something up and then i will be screwed. Blah life is really scary rite now for me ... but i have to keep going i guess .... great Ainslie u got me thinking. But Ainslie i know that u are a strong/smart gurl who knows a lot of stuff and i know u will find ur way.

Not to put negativity into this thread, but I've graduated, and I've picked my career, and my goals are ahead of me, but that doesn't mean that I'm necessary happy about my life... Life is tough... It's a constant challenge, and I emphasize on *constant* :043:
I think once a person has truly maximized his/her goals, and defeated all its challenges is when they will truly understand and accept life for what it has to offer :012: Ainslie...you'll always feel confused, but that's a part of life...it's your brain and your heart telling you two different things at the same time... Sometimes you listen to your brain, and sometimes you listen to your heart... If you need some help with picking a path that you may be interested in for your future, give me a shout... I don't know how much help I'll be, but I can give you some pointers if you want :Kimmie:

i don't have much of a clue what i want either!!
i mean.. my lil plan is to grad... work for a bit.. take a bartending course..do that.. then go to school and becum a chef.. sounds easy right?? but i also wanna do something with computers..but since that is one of the sciences i'll have to have physics.. which is one of my *worst* subjects..so i can't even go into that till after high school... and ther'e sso many other things i wanna do.. it's so confusing.. and y'know what i've decided to do?? for school..take as much as i can... like.. i've taken 2 sciences so either way i'll be able to get into university (some want 1..some want 2) and then i've got osme other courses..but it's so confusing.. and either way.. you don't always have to get everything in high school... really! like they make alotta it sound like oh you HAVE to have this..but you don't.. like take my sis for example.. she got kicked out half way thru grade 9! yes.. grade 9.. then she went to jerk and sperm (err...work and learn) and did a lil of grade 10.. so she hasn't even passed grade 10.. and she's going to one of the best schools in the country to become and esthitician (i can't spell)... without high school... so.. i say do your best with high school..then figure out more what youw ant from there.. it should be easier... good luck!

I think that one of the weirdest parts of being human is that we tend to think about the future too often, analyzing it instead of just living in the present. I know it is difficult, but try not to worry about what you are going to do in your life and focus on getting to know more about yourself in the present. Most people change their career plans many times during their lives, and nobody's life follows a set plan perfectly. You are young and it's a confusing time, right before you graduate, but remember that it is *ok* to be young and uncertain. In fact, it is a fact that confusion can be beautiful.
Try to make it so that you are at least content/happy/proud in your heart about what you are doing. Goals are good, but don't le the future stress you out and ruin your beautiful youth. julie aliceflight at hotmail ~L7~

thanks kimmie......but the thing is that anyone who helps me try to choose a path that hopefully i'll follow, i can't make up my mind. i can't even make up my mind when i'm on my own choosin my own path. but i'll for sure come to you for help
knitmittens....i totally agree with you that we all should live our life in the present and how ppl change their careers later on but to start on a path, i need somethin to go on and i don't know what that is........i guess u can say that i can't make up my mind. like i want to choose somethin that i like and that my family would agree with (i know i should listen to myself but my parents are a big impact on me) and also somethin that will put me in a good life like a few years down the road or whatever....... i dunno i'm just really confused cuz after grad i dont' where i'm goin to end up and i don't even know where i'll be or who i'll be with? my minds so frazzelled!! ugh!:002:

Don't worry, I know what you mean. Some advice might be to take at least 6 months off school in general and just travel or read or learn more about yourself. That's what I did. Now I'm in university and I feel a teeny bit more...secure...about things. But then, don't follow my advice because I don't know what I'm doing in life yet either. write to me, i'd be happy to meet you.
