I just had the most disturbing dream and need some advice.

I have had dreams that are pretty weird, but this one really hit me hard.

My brother was on trial. He was linked to someone who had committed a murder and being charged with him as an accomplice.

I was the only juror.

The person who supposedly killed someone has his henchmen serverly intimidate me to sway my decision using threats (death and bodily harm) and huge mindgames about screwing around with my familiy.

If he (and my brother) are found guilty none of the guys henchmen can touch me or anyone I know.

The final day of the trial is over and I have to make my decision.

As I walk to make my decision in the room, some henchmen try to block my way, intimidate me and threaten me if I don't do the 'right thing'.

I get scared and also get upset.

I get into the room, think and make my decision.

I vote guilty and send the man, and therefore my brother, to jail.

My brother starts crying and asks how I could do that. I got a bit upset at him and I tell him, 'The person you were with committed murder and all of the evidence defines the act happened. He has got to be punished! There wasn't anything that said you were not involved!''

I look at the henchmen in the room knowing they can't touch me or anyone I know now and tell them to fuck off.

For some reason my brother and I walk back to my car together and he is stunned about what just happened.

He looks at me and asks 'You said you would always look out for me. Don't you love me?'

'Of course I do' I reply. 'Don't you believe me?'

'I don't ever believe that I can again.' he replies.

Then it occurs to me what I have just done and a huge wave of remorse runs through my body, then I wake up in shock.

Was the decision I made to protect me? Was I so scared and angry at the man's henchmen for what they did to me that I wanted to punish him and I forgot about my own brother?

I believe my dreams do tell me things, so what is it that I really did? Was I a being a very selfish person only caring about my own well being or did I follow the law? Should I have set a killer free just to prevent my bother from going to jail? Or is there only one decision that can be made?

Woah Winston that was a really intense dream .... i think that this dream is trying to tell u something. The fact that u were the only juror for ur brother case , might mean that u ofton have to give the final jugement for stuff that ur bro does.

But i'm also seeing that u might let off ur bro easly because of the way that he reacted when u made ur final decision.

I have no idea what the henchmen mean.

This dream might just be an idea or a vision for something similiar that might occur later ..... well i hope u figure out what this dream means.

dreams are always just thoughts pulled up from your subconscience.. it's just the way they are projected to you is always kinda funky..

i think this might have to do with some sort of trust thing maybe or something with you're brother..

i'm not to good at interpretting dreams unless i really know the other person (like know who they are.. how they react..thigns goingon in their life) like my best friend..

but i suggest looking up some stuff on dreams... there's some good sites out there that will help you interpret your own dreams... or there's also books if you want...

I totally agree with u that dreams are a channel from the sub conscious to reality....I have a book that interprets dreams...I don't know wheere it is right now but if I find it I will check out what ur dream means....I'm sure there are lots of books like this that u could find at chapters or at the library so u might wanna check it out...

i have fucked up dreams. my dreams are like movies. different camera angles etc. sometimes i'm in them, sometimes i'm not. a few days ago i had a dream about some fucked up murder. and the whole dream was silent...and in slow motion. and all it was was this guy stabbing a woman repeatedly...but instead of bleeding blood, she was bleeding confetti. it was weird

and then one time i had a dream about how these people would kidnap babies and put them in jars and dry the out and then grind them up into "baby-dust".

my dreams are soooo incredibly fucked up.

in your dream. you were placed in a tough no win situation basically. making a choice you didnt really want to i guess. and the end result. you hurt someome you love cuz you had to make the choice that was honest, unbias and all that. bacically i think the dream was a test of morals vs values. or something like that, and you chose morals.

now i ask you, in real life what choice would you of made?

i have odd dreams as well.. just the other day. i dreamt taht i was at the movie theatres and snyx made me and my friend dress up in giant stuffed blue penguin suits so he could roll us around the theatre. err.. maybe i'll list one that is more meaningful. most my dreams have no real meaning and are just a whole mess of nonsense. i am very aware in my dreams.. i dream a lot about paranoia, murder, monsters, reviving inantimate objects.. etc. im sure it all has to do with my personality.

paranoia = fear, mistrust, etc.
murder = hate, ending something. change.
monsters = scary ppl put in "monster" type appearances so i will fear them more than i need to.
revivng something dead/inanatimate = not wanting change. wanting to hold on to something., etc.

i dunno. thats just what i preceive.. if you wanna try to interperate my dreams... go ahead.. good luck.. hahah.

i think you made the right desicion in your dream. because if you set your brother and the murderer free what justice would the victim family have? and you and your family and friends would be hurt. so you gave your brother the treatment he deserved. like why risk the life and well being of you your family and friends to set a guilty person free?
