how do you know if your in love?

how do you know it's real love and not puppy love??? i have liked this guy for over 10 months now and we went out for 6 and we broke up in september and i have been trying to get over him since and same with him but we always come back to eachother. i have never felt this way about any guy before and i can't stop thinking about him. could this be love? :smoke1:

My thoughts are as follows :

love is not a stagnant nor is it definable feeling --

we all love differentrently and we all love the way we know how and such

i don't believe in 'puppy love' or being too young to be in love. I don't think there is such a thing -- You love in the way you know how to in that moment and the way you love will change as you experience more and something you may call love now may not be what you call love later
but it doesn't make that love you felt any less wonderful or true

So - don't ask yourself what it is your feeling - don't be in a rush to define it...and enjoy it

There's something I used to call "Summer Camp Syndrome" that was the closest possible thing I can think of to Puppy Love.

Basically it's when you think you're in love with someone when in actuality you're in love with a moment or a place or something of the circumstances around the person when you were with them (hence why people go on vacations or to summer camp and "do the stupid and fell [sic] in love").

Whether or not you were in love isn't the question. The question is whether you were in love with the person or a fantasy.

i am in love it's just i need someone to ask how you know it's actual love. i love being with him i can never stop thinking about him and we started going out again like 3 days ago :p :070: and i'm really happy and we are great! i know this isn't making any sense but what they hell! me and him are so open with eachother and shit it's great! it's really hard to explain how we are but ya i should go cause i'm just talking now making no sense. :Acidic:
