I guess there is no good way to get bad news
Bumped into an old friend today and we got to catching up on a lot of things..
Casually in conversation, he brings up someone I used to be close friends with when I was probably 15-16, Josh. He adds "oh yeah, he's dead." It just seemed like it wasn't a big deal, but it is a big deal.. we were totally close years ago, true..we lost touch...but it still really hurts :( he moved away to LA, and we spoke the last time maybe a year ago I wish people would learn to approach things more carefully. that is all. |

I'm sorry to hear about your friend......it's always hard to lose someone.
Different people take death in different ways. Some people almost have anxiety attacks on the spot, while others don't feel anything until a few months later. So I guess the person that told you didn't realise that the news would affect you differently than it affected them. Hope you feel better soon :kimmie: |

Yeah I had three close friends pass away in highschool, and it never gets easier..
I just don't understand what could posess someone to be so nonchalant about it, because obviously it matters :( he moved to LA and got hit by a car while skateboarding, so at least he was doing what he loved before he died :| damn LA traffic. |
