i could possibly be the saddest person in the world right now!
so heres how it goes:
i get up this morning and get all ready for work, do my long 8 hours at my brand new job!-then i come back home in a decent mood!...i arrive and naturally hop on to the site!--i look out side and see my mom come home (which is totally normal)....and she comes in and askes me how my first day was.....i quickly tell her how it was, not knowing the bad news to come! and without warning she just says " sorry,....im so sorry, but i have some bad news!" instantly i think its my grandma that is not doin well at all, cuz she started getting tears in her eyes, .....so im scared by now, and there was a quick pause in between her gasp of air, which felt like forever, and then says " we had to put sable (my dog)down today...im soo sorry) i just kind of sit there instantly comatos--about to cry my self!......this was my dog, that i brang home from when it was just a little puppy (she was a staphire/rednose pit bull but sweeter then a 5 cent candy) i was more mad at first!, but she begins to tell me as she is crying now that some one left the gate to our backyard open for a second and she ran out,.....then proceeded to ran at this lady and her dog!--when she came back she was all bleeding and was in very rough shape!......right away they knew that she had been in a fight with this other dog! the lady was making such a big deal out of it and demanded my dog to put down!, and my step dad had to go and do it right away!........but this was MY dog and i didnt even get to say goodbye! what news to come home to after work! :hurt: |

that lady had no right to command u to put ur dog down before things were investigated because if ur dog was in rough shape...then that other dog probably did it or the lady did it..if she, herself, and her dog was fine, then she can't say that..
...sorry about your dog..i can't imagine losing any of my babies, i hope you'll feel ok soon~ |

Aww sorry to hear about your doggie...but as others said she's in a better place now. =)
I don't understand why ur step dad listened to the lady and put ur dog down RIGHT AWAY...couldn't they of have waited to inform you and such? And plus what would've happened anyways if the whole situation wasn't dealt with right away? Were the cops involved or something? |

Ew kelly i know pretty much exactly how you feel.
I had a german sheppard named Quincy that we got when i was really little and when i was around nine years old he attacked this other dog that was out for a walk with his owner and when i got home from school my mom told me the exactly same thing. I know you're not looking for sympathy or anything, but i dunno, just letting you know that I was in the exactly same situation a couple of years ago and i know how much it sucks. |

yeha my dog just pulled somethign like that too.,
runnin around on the bby lake trails, off leash we run into a couple ladies, and their lil foofy poodle/heinz57 mutt bitch. My boxer has a MAJOR problem with dogs smaller than her She smells up this little mutt I tell the peopel 'yeahits ok, she's friendly' Then she proceeds to try to play hard with the other dog. The dog starts running in circles yelping blue murder. It seriously sounded like it thought it was about to die. Any living creature that starts screaming with that sort of intenisity makes me completely lose it. I start running around trying to grab my boxer, but the chase continues for a good 30 seconds, along with way more emotional stress on my part than I baragined for. When I finally got ahold of my dog, I wanted to fucking kill her, that's how fucking stressed I was. I was on the verge of tears (I NEVER cry...) The people didn't tell me my dog should be put down, but I knew they were thinking it. I was kind of thinking it too... either that or that I wish my dog just went straight for the neck and killed the goddamn wussy runt before it even had a chance to scream and freak me out. fuckin dogs. |

some people are terrible dog owners (not refering to you) my dog was outside and all of a sudden i hear her yelping so i go running out side ready to kick whatever is hurting my dog and i see a woman standing there with her dog on the other side of the fence and her dog is biting my dogs face (mocha had her head uner the fence) the woman was laughing, my dog was bleeding. i asked her what her problem was as i picked up my dog, and she said that i sholdnt allow my dog to poke her head (basically just her little snout) out the fence and that my dog was antagonizing her dog. she then wlaked away while i yelled out bitch and took my dog inside to see if she was ok.
thats terrible that you had to put your dog down. i had to give away my first dog cause he got too big for where we lived and a couple of months afterwards the people we gave him to put him down. said he was mean, and he wasnt at all. he was a big teddy bear. i cant imagine comin home to that now. but big ups on the good day at work and the job! |
