Do you wear a condom???

So we have the would you wear socks durring sex post. But how about the more important question.
Who wears a condom when they have sex? And if not what are your reasons not to?
Do you use other methods of birth controll?? Are you worried about STD's??
Or are you just not carefull at all?

I myself do not wear condoms. I have a great dislike for female condoms. But the boy sure as hell better be wearing one!

its a must to wear a condom. for starters i dont want no kids running around. secondly stds are for losers and by wrapping it up ur that much safer.

ive had unprotected sex but only when its ideal. ie her being on the pill and getting checked regurlaly. always a risk so use condoms kids!

as started of the socks thread i have to say that the only time i don't wear a condom is when i'm drunk and even then i still try and find (unless i'm totally plastered) or if i'm in a relationship where we like get checked together and she's on the pill

My bf doesn't wear one, but we're both clean and only sleeping with each other. I use the IUD as birth control, and I have praised it many times in many threads. :)

peoples mis conceptions about condoms and stds is fucking scary.

u can still get stds like HERPES even when you do use domes.

as a matter of fact most people are infected with the hsv1 virus in thier childhood years, thus carry hsv1 on into thier adult years. Theres alot of things people dont know and I suggest people should refrain form having sex until they have done all of thier research.

Also, just because you are in a "long term relationship" does not by any means mean that youre partner is faithful.

Always wrap it up kids and dont fuck people you do not know well.

My girlfriend and I have been together for a long time, and have both been tested, so NOPE (thank god). We use the pill as main form of contraceptive.

That can sometimes cause friction between the two condoms causing them to break.

As for me, Im like a lot of the other couples here.
I start with the condom. I get tested regularly and ask my partners to as well.
I've had bad luck with condoms. Most of my first times using them they broke. Which was scary in new relationships.
I've had to do the day after pill more times then I wanted. (Actualy the first time was more then I wanted.)

But right now Im on the patch, with a long term partner that I trust not to stray.
You just need to know as much as possible to keep yourself safe. Nothing is absolutely certain in all situations. Condoms break, girls miss their pill, people cheat.
But hopefully people are as carefull as humanly possible.

Also people, remember that when you have someone get a blood test. Keep in mind that if they have contracted a serious std like HIV, it can take 13 weeks up to 6 months for your blood to show the virus in your system.

If they have had another partner in less then that time before you, sometimes a blood test cannot accurately tell you if they are free of std's or not. But it's good to wait a while in a relationship anyway, before you stop using a condom.
