^ pretty much what he said. If you're witty use it to your advantage, be confident (I can't stress this enough) because there's nothing more unattractive than a guy who is insecure.
Also it's all about people skills so be polite to the people you encounter on the date, you can tell a lot about a guy from the way he handles himself in public.
