so your in a comitted relationship with someone but you learn that they have boyfiends/girlfriends on the internet. theyve never met, but they flirt online and occasionaly on the phone....

how would you react?

I always thought that whole thing was classed as an 'emotional affair' , which could probably hurt more than an actual physical affair. Sometimes having a strong emotional relationship with someone can be far more intimate than just sex, know what I'm sayin'?

I think internet is kinda tacky. I guess it depends on content and frequency. Other than that, pretty harmless.

However, if one takes the next step to exchange #s and chit chat, or *ahem* lust, lush over the phone, that's a bit much. Next thing you know, they'll be "thinking" about meeting, setting up a date and time, arriving at the location, etc, etc.

Internet "chatting" can be dangerous or harmless... It's what you make of the situation.

PS... I also agree with miss.myra too :)
