YAY! i was actually worried about this when i woke up this morning, but didn't know when the actual vote was taking place.

which independents voted with the liberals? did any of the convservatives vote for the budget? i heard some of them, especially those in atlantic canada were rethinking their loyalty to the conversatives on this vote.

cadman and parrish voted with the liberals and kigour voted with the opposition. other than that it was strictly party line voting - any Cons that had sold out the party would have found themselves in serious trouble on this one. As it is, Harper has enough egg on his face after weeks of foot stomping and temper tantrums - that Stronach defection hurt him really bad. I wouldnt be surprised if we saw a new leader of the opposition by Christmas.
