being dissapointed
IN MYSELF.
my knees hurt so much right now that during my cardio ore boot camp i cant run - which is one of the main things we do in the program. i went and picked up some new runners as my old ones were definately not up to par and still my knees hurt so bloody much. i know its from the impact (we do running on cement) but fuck im fucking 20, i shouldnt be hurting from some running. i've been dealing with shit like this since i was in grade six when i first busted up my shoulder - chronic pain is not awesome when your young. i dont know what to do about my knees, all i can do is just walk everything we're supposed to run - but even that causes pain. and i feel so fucking pathetic and im not getting the workout i want to get. im still sweating and busting my ass during the yoga and pilates and all of the circuit training but i just dont feel like ive done enough at the end of the class. im just fed up with always being in pain. |

i have the same problem..my knees swell up bad when i jog...im lucky to live next to a forest with alot of trails..but no matter what if you have bad joints its gonna hurt...you should go talk to your doctor about arthritis...im only 20 and i have it..ive had it since i was like 10...as soon as i start workin out my joints get stiff and swell bad....wrappin yer knees usin medicated rubs does help...try takin a anti-inflamatory b4 you work out to....it may be something completley different..but nun the less chronic pain is no good it could bring on other aielments does it hurt more to run in the cold? |

Just curious.. Did your doctor tell you if it's patello-femoral syndrome? Cuz I have that and it sounds like it. My knees get sore after dancing alot sometimes, it really really sucks. :(
