My parents are split.. but my mom married another guy.. that is the by far the best father anyone could ask for. :) And is still good friend with my birth father, tho he came into my life later in time. :) I hate his wife. I hope she gets hit by a truck the fuckin whore. Can't waint until the divorce papers goes through on that bitch. ugh. words can't even express my hatered for this cunt. [cunt is an understatement of what I think of her.]

my parents divorced when i was in grade 6 and my dad remarried about three years ago now.

Early on in the marriage my dad made a disclaimer: #1 for him will always be work, family second. My mom agreed, decided she would put family #1, and they haven't really looked back since.

They make an awesome team. I hope they never split.

My parents split up june of my grade eleven year (2001) and later in january I found out my mom was having an affair for 3 or 4 months before she left him. There seperation was the most devasting thing thats ever happend to me. And I still have MAJOR issues with it. Just thinking about it makes me want to cry..lol. I still have a tiny bit of hope that they will get back together.. they never will.

parents still together, have the odd fight here and there, nothin to bad. my dad mostly does what he wants now. after over 25 years of doing everything he can to please my mom and treat her like a princess he's finally tired, and is being treated like the king he is by her.
they were never really affectionate - never held hands in public, didnt even sit on the same couch at home, until we found out my dad was sick and they've gotten a million times closer\act more visiably in love. they take off in a moment on trips, my mom doesnt freak out as much about money when it comes to spending it on traveling, and they go on dates now.

Mine have been married for 28 years this year. They've been through ALOT in the last 7 years or so, and have still managed to stay together. I have alot of respect for them because of it, because alot of people wouldn't have made the effort to make sure they worked things out.

my real dad took off when i was 5 had the same step dad since. so split but as far as im concered together.

at the time i wanted them to stay together, but now i realize what an ass my dad is and what a psycho my mom is.
i dont live with either, shocking.
dad is religious and belives he can't remarry until my mom dies.
mom had been with a rash of horrible boyfriends.

my parents should of never gotten married like 2 opposites.... were fighting ever since i was young, always yelling, fighting etc and finding out later when i was older when they said they were going to movies they were seeing a counsellor. one time my dad even left.finally when i graded in 2001 they got the ball rolling and decided to really seperate and sell the beautiful house i grew up in and i was sad about that i went to live with my dad my brother with mom... since then they are a lil bit happier but still not final their divorce been dragging on forever

mine split when i was a baby...my mom had another baby and a husband... my dad lived alone for a long time and i didnt see him too much... then i had to moved in with him when i was older and he got a girlfriend who has driven me crazy over the years trying to be my mom.. but im thankful she came around cuz she helped my dad alot and hes happy and has his act together.... they fight like children sometimes tho....

When i get married I plan on staying with that person forever...
