Being helpless.... and having no details.

So last night.. my mom goes to bed early, I'm stil up but I dont answer the landline every really...

Sumtimes my dad will call 2 or 3 times in a row to wake up my mom at 2AM or something like that just to talk......or to ask her to do something the next....
[my daddy's a truck driver and my lil'bro went on a trip with him cause schools out... father'n'son time...they're in Ontario, Cali.]

Well last night I thought the same thing was goin on.. so I just let it ring... and ring... and ring...

Woke up this moring, told my mom, dad called last night, so she should check the messages...

It's my brother crying/talking on the voicemail.

Naturally, we start calling back, being like wtf is goin on. We can't through.. all we get is the voice mail.

I have to goto work... gave my work number to my mom... to leave on my dads voice mail... so I can know whats goin on. And I'll be near my phone at all times.

Then my mom calls my cell around 10AM, leaving a message saying the paramedics took my dad to the hospital, that work is sending my mom down Ontario Cali. to take care of business... and that she's leaving in the next bit and not to call her or my dad.... cause my dads phone is dying and she's on a plane and busy.

Now all day this has been in the back of my mind driving me fucking insane cause I dont know how the fuck my dad or brother are... and my mom said she probably wont call me until tomo morning.

What am I supose to do till then.... @!$@^#?$%

Ugh, I just wanna know that they're well and fine.. but untill then I'm gonna go insane and have no way of taking my mind of this.

That has to be possibly the worst message I've ever heard in my life.

i had the same thing happen last summer, when i was home by myself, and my parents were camping with some friends, and i got a call form thier friends saying they'd gone for a walk and not come back for like 12 hours, then i got another call the next day saying they still hadnt come back and the next day they called me, my dad had broken his leg and my mom had to walk to the nearest town to get help and all this other crazy shit

So everyting is sorta alright........

My dads gonna make it, but he wont be better till mid next week. So, the doctor says....

which means they wont be home for another 1.5 weeks.

Jsut sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad my dads ok.
He has... that long word that starts with a 'Tonsil'... umm.. fuck. cant think of it.
anyways... it knocked my dad out, made him see shit... and not able to breath.
Basically.. he stop breathing... my brother noticed ran out and told a lady who called the ambulance.

Thing could have got a lot worse..... like them puttin my bro in the 'system'.... They almost didnt let my mom board the plane... ugh...

Anyone have a laundry card they can lend me.... my mom took it with her.

its easy to remember because itis is just greek/latin for inflamation , so it's inflamation of the tonsils

when its bronchitis its inflamation of the bronchi and so on
