how do you cope with depression?
I woke up this morning more depressed then I have been in a long time. I don't want to get into any details of my life because it's completely irrelivant, but those who know me well know I have really bad luck.
So when I got up this morning I had this coat of depression over me so overwhelming that I get nautious just looking myself in the mirror. When someone talks to me I get a headache, and when I look outside it feels like my eyes are going to bleed. I just want to crawl under a rock and never come out. Anyone else have this problem? I don't want to go on any fucking medication or anything, but maybe someone has some advice so I can lift my head today. |

goto the gym and work out... really sweat it all out.
it seems to get alot worse if you stay at home and feel sorry for yourself. and being around people and having to deal with awkward social situations doesn't help the situation either. it's important to keep the mind busy with something postively stimulating. it never gets you anywhere when you idle yourself because of depressed feelings. face the facts that you're in the situation because you're human and it's not like everyone else has it sweet either... life goes on. the more struggles we seem to experience, the more we appreciate the happy times that temporarily come along. |

depression sucks, i got pretty down on myself when i broke up with my girlfriend and all my friends pretty much stopped tlaking to me for her lol; BUT ALAS I PREVAILED.
step 1; get all decked out so when you look in the mirror you go "boy i wanna get laid by you" step 2; go to mirage or some meat market of a night club. step 3; flirt with girls all night and get drunk. step 4; if all goes good get laid, and boom youre done. YOURE THE KING OF THE F'N WORLD lol. that and what everyone else said, working out makes you feel great, or like that guy up there said set goals and acheive them. and just be optimistic, everything happens for a reason, and what doesnt kill you makes you stronger, so just take the posotive parts of what has happened and just apply them to your live, look for the moral of the story or something like that lol. |

Honestly, get into some therapy.
When I was 16 I felt like my life was falling apart, so I went to see a therapist for about 5 or 6 sessions, and she really helped me put things in perspective and lay out a plan to make my life better. We decided on some guidelines for my life and how to keep it positive, and five years later I still follow the same guidelines and I'm happy as a clam! Good luck! |

just about 13 montths since i have taken any anit-deppresents. Really wish i never took thoese stupid pills cause I just have not been the same outgoing person at all. But I just knew I could not relye on taking pills for the rest of my life.
