So, I like this girl, but dont know how to tell her that. But for NYE could go out with this other girl and have a great time, even a potential girlfriend, which is kewl and all. The only problem is that I like the girl that I'm not going to NYE with. Why does this always have to be so difficult for me, everytime.

You don't know how to tell her? It's Christmas time man... perfect to use as a great excuse to go out with her.

Call the girl up you like and say something like you want to buy her a coffee and hang for a couple of hours since it's Christmas. Then face to face, ask her out to the movies... hell, maybe even that evening if it works.

The point is don't let the opportunity pass you by or some other more confident dude will close the deal. If it's meant to happen, it will.

To be honest i would ask the girl you really like to come out and chill and party or something casual......that way there is no pressure and it is always less scary if you are out to hang out not to go out on a date...then you guys can hang out, have fun, and get to know eachother(if you arent friends already)

plus you dont want to settle for someone, or lead them on, if you like someone else more

she can only say no and then at least you know...plus you can play it off like you only wanted to hang out.. that way there is no weirdness or uncomfortableness(sp?)

Thanks for the advice.........I called her up and planned to chill and she said yes, now I just got to tell her that I like her more than just friends.

Don't buy her a shit load of flowers right away... it "may" scare her off. (Some like that shit, and others don't.) Do something sweet... Buy her one flowerr... maybe a white rose. It means innocense. Yellow means friendship, etc.

I didn't end up chilling with her, so I called and re-shedualed, but lately I'm too busy with work and the gym that its hard to find free time. Hopefully I get a break soon, I used to have more time when I went to school, so thinking of doing that again. Plus there are so many hotties in college :)

One step closer to getting a good girlfriend, she called me today and asked me out on a official date next weekend. Its awesome :) I couldn't be happier. Everything is falling into place so perfectly this year.
