Get a job
go to school Get a haircut Pick something (the hardest part) you enjoy and go for it 110% Go to the gym Do something new. Don't know what makes you happy? You know what makes you unhappy though, right? Cut those unhappy things out of your life. It's hard at first but you can do it. Talk to someone positive who can can help you find direction in your life. No one can make your life better other then you.. Get up and do something positive for yourself. Get up and do it today! every once in a while i get in a dark place and freak out for a while.....
life is a trip for me when i dont know what direction im going in...... so i jus say to myself "suck it up bitch"....i know how to have a good time so i do so...and i jus work really hard at everything i do.... thinking of new goals every so often and accomplishing them brings happiness for sure |

Searching for people with the same problem will most likely bring you down more. You want to surround yourself with people that are happy and optimistic. I'm not sure if help is what your looking for or if its just another lifeless person you would like to be emo with but im sure theres a ton of people who care about you and could help ya out. |

I think its time for a reality check. You should take a look at the your life, what you do, and what options you have. Not everyone has the option of sleeping in a bed, and you dont think its worth it to get out? You should go volunteer somewhere locally, help out your community. Go learn a new skill, find a hobby, find a friend to jog with, take advantage of what you have at your disposal, not everyone in the world has the options that we do here in Canada.

when ever i feel crappy like this..
I go for a walk. last week i was feeling really bad, but i walked through a park near my place and i saw robins pulling earthworms out of the ground. as cheese as it may sound... it just made me happy. |

Maybe you just need a change, something to look forward to, something new to learn. Mateo and Goat has provided some great advice here. Surround yourself with happy people, be proactive and look for some new challenges for yourself. I think we all just come to a point where we have to stop and reassess where we are going with our lives and ask ourselves how happy we are with our current situation, and what we can do to make it better for ourselves. If we don't take time out of our lives to stop and just think, we can easily keep on unsatisfied with a stagnant and unfulfilling life. Give yourself some time to reflect on what's making you unhappy, and how you can change it. |

Im going to assume that you do drugs..because well..most ravers do. And if you dont..then I apologize. Time to quit raving/doing drugs..and quit anything else in life that makes you unhappy. Crappy job? Tired of your friends or boyfriend? All these things will add to depression. The only way to move forward in life is to put that past behind you. Dont dwell on things that are not going right..instead put that energy into enjoying your life more. Spend more time working out! It seriously works. And if none of that works..you can always jump on the bandwagon and get some prescription depression pills. Good luck. |

my advice...like most everyone else has said, would be to find some things that really make you happy, and encorporate them into your daily life. suck as working out, art, reading, skool....<those are my things, but you get the drift. hope all goes well, and you know if you ever need anyone to talk to, im here :) |

Ask for kate. But seriously, that is the beauty of life...sometimes you just have to relish in your piety (with as little anxiety over "what you should be doing" as possible) and other times you have to find ways of coping so you can face your life. It is really important that you have a support system in your life, people that are actually there to listen to you non-judgmentaly because no one likes to feel they are alone in pain, hardship or even life itself. Besides support, coping = ways that you deal with your problems that work, and hopefully healthy. Yes, a lot of people do COPE with drugs and alcohol, but that only causes even greater problems in the future, and so no i am not suggesting you turn to quick fixes, although most do. Consider, We are all still alive for a reason, if you really wanted to die you would,something we are doing is working...keeping us alive and coping...so you need to focus on your pluse. Yes, the pluses may be minimual but still focusing on them is key, for they are likely things that help you cope and keep you going. Remind yourself of what it is that you actually want from life, i mean ...if you don't want anything...not even love ...then why are you here? Take care and good luck! |

If Im not feeling so good, I usually go for a walk, or call up one of my best friends to just go do something like have a game of mini gold or whatever (But I cant really do that anymore since I moved :S) Or I just go for a swim at the pool or for a work out. Something, anything to get your mind off stuff like that. People will go through stages like that no matter what we think. All that matters is that you realize that its not the end of the world, and its just a bad day/mood.
