I think that despite everyone having different relationships with their parents, in general parents are human too. So somethings are going to effect them, because generally with love and parenting comes worry and apprehension at times. WIth saying this, issues such as sexuality are still sensitive, because most communities have not come to terms with everything there is to sexuality. Human beings just havent evolved to that point yet. So as a result there are still specific negetive/painful experiences in existance. It would be safe to say that either this or just a lack of knowledge, would cause a parent to worry. But regardless, if you think you are mature enough to accept something as powerful and important as a component of you sexuality/identity, then be mature enough to communicate it in a gentle and non alienating manner to your parents. Going up to your parents and saying "Im kinda gay" is not indicative of how an adult would engage in conversation. Its far too casual and almost curt. If you bring up a topic in an immature manner, then do you really put forth an image (be it real or not) to your loved ones, that your choice is something real? And if it isnt, if its just experimentation, then why the need to tell your folks in the first place?

And every single person sticking up for her looks like gullible fools who 100% bought into her bullshit. now of course some of her threads deal with some pretty serious shit, which is why i havent said anything about them, BUT i cannot take anyone seriously who one day is totally in love with the man she is gona marry then the next day dumps im because he tells her he doesnt like star trek? which seems so out there she quickly lets it be knowin in more then one thread that it wasnt so much about the star trek but the fact he was to emo bla bla bla. I DOUBT any of those are the real reasons for the break up. for me even though i enjoy her drama filled threads i put very little letgitimacy in anything she says because of her over the top indecisive nature and obvious goal of creating drama filled threads be it good drama or bad. SNARK OFF. P.S this town has "got" to me :)
