Just to play devils advocate, all of the sites are going to have some sort of drawback. Keep in mind that SG is the one that's been around the longest (with GG and DN having just gone live within less than the last 6 months), and therefore has had the most time for site/model relationship issues to arise.

I applied for SG and am going to shoot a set in the next month or so. Personally, as I've been a member there for over a year and a half, it's the place where I feel most comfortable with putting pictures of myself up (and yes, I know what the contract says. I've read it.).

My personal opinion is, regardless of what others' experiences have been, you should model on whichever site makes you the most comfortable. :)


PS -+> The first 3 application pics just have to be pics of you that show who you are and what you look like. At least one should be a full body shot (and they don't have to be nude). :)

Heh... SuicideGirls is fucking bullshit... TRUST ME!

I modelled for them for something like two years and was a member for over a year before that. When I applied it was a fuckload better... not as much drama and a way better community. I also applied under a cotnract that didn't allow me to model for other sites but still allowed me to model for other sites after I left... under the "new" contract you can't model for a competing site for two years after you leave SG. When I went live there wrere about 350 girls... a lot at that time... now there's over 1000... it's ridiculous.

The owners treat there models like crap... there's tons of favouritism and shitloads of bullshit drama the "public" never hears about. For instance... we were ALWAYS told none of our pictures would be resold to other sites... did they uphold this after a bunch of their top models left them... FUCK NO! I give you http://contentpinup.com/ where you can buy sets AND the girls personal information because you need it to prove they're of age if you intend on making a website... such as http://punkrockgirlfriend.com/index.html (NOT WORK SAFE). Which seems to be a much more hardcore pr0n site.

Speakin of hardcore pr0n it's defiently the way SG is trying to turn. In the "preview section" on the old site there was MAYBE one poon shot... possibly two. Now when you look there's shitloads... pretty much ever other one... or a series of 20 in a row.

SG kicks you off their site for bringing any of this up... funny thing is I could be potentially sued for saying all this... they're fucking sue crazy... they've sued TONS of girls and sites for bullshit. The site I'm on now has been to court twice regarding them and WON both times.

I could go into WAY more detail since I know a ton of dirt on SG but I won't... I'm sick of the neverending bullshit drama... there's a reason I left that site.

All that being said DN fucking ROCKS! The owners are amazing people who're definetly doing it right AND they allow you to model for other sites... in fact in the private model section they asked us to give the other girls our opinions of the other sites they model on and they told us their relationship with the owners... which in most cases is good (aside from SG of course). Gwin n Chad do an awesome job and I enjoy being with them a billion times more.

Just about all the Suicide Girls in Vancouver have moved on to other projects because of this. There's also a lot of shitty and unfocused sets on SG. There's just SO many girls and SO many sets that you only really remember the good ones. I'll be the first to admit the girls n sets I miss from there but I much rather not give Sean Suhl money to abuse his power over girls.

GodsGirls has some excellent photography and DeviantNation has some awesome sets too... they don't have as many sets up because they're still technically in beta testing though.
