Need some more suggestions to fill empty time. We're going more for covers that you wouldn't normally expect, though the Ben Harper one is pretty popular.
On the list we have: Bob Marley -- No Woman No Cry Ben Harper -- Burn One Down Tom Waits -- Tango Till They're Sore Those are the ones that my friend and I are going to play. I'm going to be doing a couple of old blues jams solo. "Death Letter" by Son House and "Jumper Hanging on the Line" by RL Burnside, I'm thinking. |

Cohen is a great idea. I'm sure there will be a few covers of Jeff Buckley's rendition of 'Hallelujah' so it'd be nice to add some of his better work into the mix. |

I think it only really got that kind of attention because of Buckley, and even then, only after his death.
I've decided for my solo set that I'm going to do 'Death Letter' by Son House and go right into 'Little Bird' by the White Stripes. Still deciding what my third song should be. I'm thinking 'Hard Time Killing Floor Blues' by Chris Thomas King. |
