Speaking of French Hip Hop. There's this awsome movie about the ghetto in France which has the obvious hip hop influences in their street culture. The movie is called La Haine (Hate) Haine, La (1995). This movie is way ahead of it's time considering the ghetto uprising/ rioting that happend in France, a couple years ago?

If you can find this movie with the English subtitles, you are in for a treat.

Anyways, Groove was a godawful movie. Tried to be a snapshot of rave culture but sadly was devoid of plot, theme, character and instead had stereotypes and buzzwords.

Human Traffic > Groove, any day.

It's good. It's basically all the snapshot of British club culture that Groove wanted to be of SF rave culture, except competently written, directed and acted in.

Also it's hella funny.
