i am so excited for this!! peeping tom was good cause its patton, but disappointing and laughable at the same time..fantomas are still in heavy rotation for me, and bungle, fnm etc.

Peeping Tom was a decade too late.
New Tomahawk is sick if you like mescaline.
Fantomas is always epic.
Faith no more are as underrated as it gets, especially album of the year.
Bungle Disco Volante is easily my favorite work of his then California.
His solo shits good for a listen, once, just too grasp his vast scope of sound/vocals, I mean, he just did the screams for the monsters in I Am Legend ffs, nevermind all the video games he's voicing atm.

By far, Patton is my one hero.:D

edit: I forgot to mention, this work is fucking mind blowing, beyond anything I was hoping for from him, just insanely epic.

i am so excited!!! everything you said is right on the money!!! esp about fnm being so completely underrated!!! marilyn manson's album's antichrist superstar and gaog are regurgitated version's of the songs on fnm's angel dust!! and king for a day lays the groundwork for the current scream-o phenomenon as well as its clearly a very major influence on bands like system of a down etc....
