jenai can only hope to improve
My mini review of Radiohead Tue Aug. 19, 2008, Thunderbird Stadium, Vancouver

a big thumbs down to the 500 people who couldn't wait to get out of TB Stadium, hopped the west fence line and destroyed plants as they wandered through the garden, and hopped the fence into the backstage area at the top of the ramp, only to wander into Catering to steal food and wine, and scare off the security guards there.

you drunktards should write an apology to Radiohead, LiveNation and especially UBC. if you are going to UBC this fall, then you better start studying and stop partying ASAP.

you are no longer dedicated fans of Radiohead. you are MobRule, and will live interesting times for the desecration you caused. you will become alcoholics, and never awaken to the misery you cause others.

don't bother coming to anymore concerts at TB Stadium, you fey chav scum!

I actually gave jenai good karma. Weird.

Show was pretty good, setup was excellent, loved the effect on the video screens... made Thom and the boys seem grainy, semi-real, almost, dare I say it, "Rock Band-esque"

But I'm not that familiar with their new stuff, and some of their old stuff sounded a bit tired (most notably Karma Police and Just, which used to be 2 of my favorites. I don't think they did anything wrong, maybe I've just heard them too much)

National Anthem and Exit Music for a Film were personal favorites.

Rain was gross.

Out.

Why didn't you tell me you were going? I was there. It was great.

Pitch black, pissing rain, thousands of people singing the lyrics to karma police. It don't get much better!

I thought it was AMAZING!

I dont care that it was raining or it took an hour to get beer the music was amazing and Radiohead did an awesome show. The thunder and lightning was a good effect lol.
Got a kick ass T-Shirt and mini donuts as well.

All and all it was a good show. They should do alot more out door shows at Thunderbird (other then festivals) thats how there done in Europe! =)

there has been tons of festivals and outdoor concerts at thunderbird stadium, and inevitably the weather never seems to cooperate.

One of the best shows I ever saw was Dandy Warhols, Wilco and R.E.M. at T-bird stadium.

Weather was glorious. DW's played to sun, Wilco to sunset, R.E.M. to dusk/night

So proud.
