I agree with you. But in terms of the police perspective (have had this discussion already with a very good friend), it is frustrating for them to see young people high on whatever it is their trippin on, and not being able to bust them. It's unfortunate that raves have a bad rep from the public and the city shares that perspective, it really sux, because, as you say, I feel that I do feel I am safer at events like these than I do at a club.
Don't get me wrong tho, it's a party FFS, providing everyone is respectful and what not, everyone is to benefit...Karma does go beyond FNK ;) Back on topic: These headliners are absolutely brilliant, and for good reason. Nick Sentience: Classic hard house producer, top notch DJ. This man definately has something for everyone, I've been digging around a little more about his latest work, and to be completely honest, I was blowen away from his last production with BK on Riot Recordings. Great mixture of tech trance with cool conventional dance elements. With an added psy trance influence also in his work, it will no doubt be an act to look forward to. Richard Durand: wow...just wow. check out his pod casts @ richarddurand.com a must hear for any trance head. I'm very excited to hear what he has in store for us. Such a treat for having him here. /w00t'age :) |
