Don't advertise the parties using mainstream mediums...afterall, this is why over 40s and 12 yr olds end up at them and kills the vibe.

so what is the correct age then?
how do you police ticket sales to 12 y/o's?
who are you to tell someone over 40 they cannot attend?

I'll say I agree in the fact younger attendance does seem more abundant then when I first started in 2000. I worry the younger attendance becomes the more open we leave ourselves for a punch in the balls when one trips too hard and it stirs up a media shitstorm. However my opinion is bias as im sure the 'correct age' party people were saying the same about me back when.

You have your opinions, I have mine.

MORESO THE YOUNGER CROWD. Police ticket sales at the source. This could be enforced relatively easily...but I would think thats at the bottom of the priority list for promoters. It sure would help the vibe, yes?

educate the masses!

I have also found a good number of people that go dont even like electronica. What up with that??

Maybe have genre specific events ( the smaller ones ) large events must obviously cater to everone.

Just tossing up ideas.

Yeh we need more quality small events to foster that relationship with the new kids. When the newbs feel welcome they'll come out more resulting in a bigger scene. Build from the bottom up.

exactly... that is my point... if you were presented with a trance free event you would be like 'damn, just what the doctor ordered!' and if i was presented with a trance abundant party it would be roughly the same reaction.

I guess what im saying is, seperate quebec.

That is stupid. Partying used to be about diversity. Fragmenting the party people so they only attend events in their niche would become boring so quickly cause you'd see the same ugly mugs every time. What you are suggesting would kill raves altogether.

more multi-genre small parties.

there's only so many multi-room venues and the idea of single-genre niche parties just don't appeal to me anymore.

justShell is on a distinguished road
i didnt vote for the age limit thing. i think it is a good idea. but their is no way to moniter ticket sales. but i think kick it worked pretty well with just a fwe people getting hte tickets out there. npot to many booty short clad ho's about. and it was a nice chill vibe. i vote more of that:) plus bigger acts
