Just because Electronic music is on commercials, it doesnt make it mainstream. Whats everyone on about? Stop thinking its going mainstream and enjoy it for the time being. The thing is, (sucks, but its true) drugs are as much part of the scene as glowsticks. Sorry. And about bringing in Huge Trance acts, you can just fucking forget that shit. Even if promoters did bring in huge Trance acts, they're just going to be bring them over and over and over. (Johan, Armin, etc) I think before anything happens, people who are already in the scene, should educate themselves first.

however....smaller venues, genre specific parties, etc. would be nice ;) there will always be complaints......but seriously...it is what you make of it |

I cant say too much on the subject, as Im fairly new to the area. But Ive noticed over the past years that most parties are being one genre based almost.
Id say, try to get a variety of styles into one night. It keeps things mixed and going. And will cater to a wider variety of party-go-ers. Just my two cents! |

here are some things:
1) bigger venue (and most likely of top dj's coming in) 2) P.L.U.R. 3) top 20 djs 4) less "i-am-not-sorry-for-bumping-into-you" & too high off drugs' jerks 5) cheaper tickets/coat hanger/drinks/foods/etc 6) age restriction (should be 18+) cheap tix + big venue (1000~2000+) + good music + non-trainwreck djs + decent sound/visual system = R.A.V.E. |

your basically trying to change the scene for your benefit, for 2.) P.L.U.R -- its not 1993. for 3.) top 20 djs -- ugh.. what? u mean like.. *gasp* DJ SAMMY?! RLY?! for 4.) less "i-am-not-sorry-for-bumping-into-you" & too high off drugs' jerks -- you can't change people you jerk-off. for 6) age restriction (should be 18+) -- er.. most ravers did start going to raves under the age of 18, i can't speak for all, but most. So if your going to restrict age up to the age of 18, just goto a fucking club. n00b. |

I think the scene has been doin really well the last while, Sure there isnt any pne parties or anything, but I am diggin the smaller parties with some good music and good people. I dont like to be somewhere where I pay 95 bucks to dance around (not drunk) and watch kids all high and running around. Soo keep up what you guys have been doin, lots of smaller parties !
