Since VIP tickets cost $175 at stores....what does this entitle you to? it doesn't say anywhere on the flyer...

..and access to a 'catered lounge' (aka a fenced off part of pne) where they put 5 cases of water, that gets snatched up in the first 5 min of the show starting haha

I think Solid needs to regulate tickets better. People just bought bunches of tickets to just resell them for 80 from the start. Also, what I don't get is how the highest set cost for a ticket is $75 on the flyer so why are tickets $175 in stores? I hope this same thing doesn't happen for NYE, otherwise I'm done with Solid events.

Last years dooms (if I remember right) I got vip tickets. They had a section where you can sit on a couch.... Some stuff to eat... Free water... And at the same time got to talk to DJ Craze after he was done his set since he had the munchies and stuff...

As for store tickets I know boomtown isn't accepting credit cards for doomznight tickets. Apparently they have had some trouble with people trying to charge them back or something of that nature.

khandydav3, i was wondering the same. UFO was selling them for $160
so does that mean the stores are now trying to rack up the profits ?

last time i bought vip there was supposed to be line up bypass, water and a CD. i got the skip the inexistent line up, and that was it. every time i went to a rave, i didnt see any line ups until well past midnight, so really, VIP is not necessary

Interesting.. I had VIP as well and the only thing it helped with was getting us in alot faster (as in there was no line up for VIP at all when we got there).

it was a lit up area before you went into the "mirror" type room it was on the right.... they had some security person manning it to make sure you had a badge and stuff...

$175 for a ticket to Doom's what a RIP OFF!!!!! Hahahaha, that party is SO not worth $175, I'm sorry but whoever pay's $175 is a fucken idiot and is making Solid Corp. VERY happy.

I was considering to attend, but its just not worth it, Simple has a way better line up than Doom's. I'm just gonna hit up a house party this Halloween and get completely hammered with my gf and all my friends, we will pound that system, its gonna be way better than paying $175 for a rave, lol.

I don't think Solid is to blame for this. Its the scalpers. There are plenty of people sitting on tickets waiting for the best time to flip them out.

Solid isnt happy about this! They sold their tickets at COST (45/55/65/75 or whatever it was)

The only people making profit off of this is the Scalpers. Solid gets shit all of the profit.

175-45 = 135 dollar profit.......

Trust me kids. As I stated earlier. Noone in their right minds should think standing in a room full of raver sweat, around high sketchy people that want to pet you and flash glowing sticks in your face is work 175 dollars.

Umm I know how scalpers work, I went to Seattle like 2 years ago for Doom's 2004 and got like 40 tickets at $35 US and sold them for like $80 CAN here, I made a killing. Everything was paid for and I made a crazy profit. It was alot of work though and I took a big risk, so I never did it again.

I'm not saying Solid is happy cause scalpers are charging ppl $175 a ticket, I'm saying Solid is happy cause another Doom's sold out and they just made a killing.

Although charging $175 is messed up, I only charged $80 at the most, $175 is just robbery if you ask me. They are just ripping ravers of where is the PLUR? See I'd totally attend if the tickets were like $100, but $175 come on that's wack! I'm sure it will be a crazy party though so who ever can dish out $175 on a ticket is going to have alot of fun. PNE parties kick major ass!
