DJ / Producer Dwayne Minard is one of Toronto's most popular up & coming DJs. His sound is an uplifting mix of chunky, funky & vocal house with a strong nod to the glamorous days of Studio 54.

Dwaynes booty shaking UK influenced style has been a staple at Lub Lounge on Friday nights for the past two years. T his sound has also landed him some high profile gigs in London, England at Salvation and The End.

In March 2005 Dwayne & his production partner Gavin Bradley (known together as Righteous) saw the release of their first single Soul Clappin on Refunkt Trax in the UK. A hands in the air, filtered disco anthem Soul Clappin made waves in the UK club scene and charted in the top 30 of DJ Magazine. Their follow up single for Refunkt Love is Love ft. MJ White hit the shelves in February 2006 and has received support from the likes of Juke Joint, DJ Meme & Jack N Daniels. Their much sought after, unreleased remix of Nelly Furtados single Try has been in regular rotation on Chum FM in Toronto since the beginning of 2005. They are currently in the studio working on their follow up to Love is Love.

Yep... I'm playing some chill/soulful sounds from 9 till 10:30... maybe 11. Depends when Dwayne wants to go up. With Max on the same night, my gut tells me it won't be super busy.

Then again, Bar None's management team has some good promo power!
