K its 3 days later and im back to normal.
Party was sick for the 4 hrs i was there. Trizzak was sick .. huge crowd for the 4th room - Hirshee & JD were at it again LOL -- good tunes from u guys - JD should become a hypeman w/ those mic skills! Oliver Nickels was rockin it pretty hard - good stuff man. Amanda Rude ! u werent even DJing but made my nite lol I caught a bit of Scot Project - not my type of music but sure as hell fun to watch from the rafters. Laidback Luke had to be one of the better sets ive seen @ massives inside of PNE -- super nice guy too -- surprised his english was that good. Hope to see him again real soon. Wax took the risk of droppin hiphop @ 430am -- it was siCk in my view. When he gets hot .. its hard to find any better. Picks up momentum as he goes .. great set. As for myself & Average -- we had a rockin time in that 2nd room .. in my eyes, the sickest room Ive ever had the chance of playin in ! sound couldnt get any better.. visuals/ lasers were nuts. Place was slammed start to finish - Couldnt thank solid enough for the oppurtunity of droppin breaks in that room .. After playing 4th room / 2nd rooms at all these other shows -- this was a huge change - loved every second of it... thanK u to all that were there. see u @ nye |

Eddie Halliwell played a sick set, but he also seemed to have a little rough of a time. At the beginning, one of his decks seemed to have cut out and the same beat was playing over and over, and later on, it looked like he almost ate the floor when he jumped from side to side. And at the end, was he just yelling at the crowd in general or was he pissed at someone up front, couldn't tell from the back...

Thanks again to the Solid Crew for having me I had a blast..Thanks to all the people that rocked to my set. The lighting and the sound in all the rooms were good..just to bad it was so bright in the 3rd room..but ya have too at the enterance.. Danced my ass off to Eddie Hallawell..scratching to trance who would have ever thought..I stopped in my tracks. Meat Kate fuckin best breaks I have heard in a long time. Jeff and Hershiey..rocked out the electro as always.

Dooms was fun! I got to the door dressed up as link from the legend of zelda. But security took my sword and shield and turned me into an elf. So i went back to my car and changed into a canucks jersey. sorta felt like a tool, but i got over it. The party was like every other colliseum party i've been to. The only difference is usually the main room. The dj's in the 2nd room were killer. I had fun checking out the 4th room. The guy before trizzak had some good shit (special dedication is close to my heart). And I had a lot of fun with my set. Thanks J for the help with the gear. I overcame the problem. Bfunk, sorry to hear about what happened to you dude. Thanks solid for the great show. As usual, people from every walk of life. Youngsters and old people, of all ethnicities. And you always bring out the old schoolers. The women looked amazing and the costumes were funny, though there weren't many if you excluded the lingerie and girl racer outfits. Us guys represented too. Guys never get compliments damnit, girls always get the credit for looking good. We guys held it down. I left at 630 and I was beat. Nice seeing everyone who was there, and all those who came to check out my set! Hope to see you at High Society at the end of November! |

I had fun!!! The setup was crazy and the lineup was awsome. However, I agree with the lack of sound quality. In the main room you def had to be close to the front to get the full affect of the base which was a lil dissapointing. Non-the-less I had an awsome time, its always good to see everyone and there is nothing better than dancing the night away.

And those Solid jersey t-shirts looked pretty sweet too. Wish I could have been there too... And steph ly is one hot lookin lady... would have been sweet to watch her dance. |

ok guys well just wait for NYE coz i didn't really take much crowd pictures coz it was jimmy chou who hired me to take pics of him, i just took pics of the crowd for fun...
but Solid might hire me to be their photographer for NYE so i might end up taking pics for the whole event, so just wait and see how things goes and if i do become the official photographer then you guys will get to see more of my pics and probably you guys will be on the pics too :P |
