My bad, I was stil half asleep when I said northeast.
You should come Maggie, you'd love it up there. There's hippies there for sure, but I pretty much just ignored them. There like 8000 other cool peeps there. |

shambhala = life altering adventure if you bring a postive and respectful attitude to the festival, not only will you have the time of your life, you will leave a changed person. |

I'm totally don't agree with the whole "live changing experience" stuff about Shambhala. Shambhala certainly helped me get back on my game (even though I still blew far too much easy shit), but it certainly didn't change my life.
It was one of the funnest weekends of my life for sure though, even though I ended up with no ride home. That ride home was an adventure in itself though. |

Shambhala for me was life altering in simple ways... Not like, blown up spiritual " i did too much acid" kind of ways. But simple little ways that make a big difference. for instance... I was lucky enough to meet some pretty amazing people out there who will remain friends of mine for life, and have also introduced me to new friends outside of shambhala. That one aspect of shambhala alone has really changed my perspective for the positive. and the experience has also given me the confidence to do it again, and do it again PROPERLY. I was pretty aprehensive about going out there till I got there. Its kind of like, hopping onto a really freaky looking rollercoaster. Scary till you get on, then you do it again like 10 times till your sick. :) |
