Dooms night had no deco, and shitty sound system... yet prices were so high.. where does all the profit go from the inflated prices???

a week apart from new years....and its soon going to be more than half the price
plus you get more headliners
and evolve always does an excellent job.

I wish someone could guarantee an amazing sound system and wicked stage setups/decorations.

Can we have someone from Solid give us something to look forward to other than the headliners (who they are just doing their job but have nothing to do with how the actual event goes - only Solid does).

I'm not saying they aren't doing a great job in their events, cause who am I to speak when I can't even host a 100 person party - but all I'm saying is that when something is as big of a scale as any Solid massive, then the quality of such events should be up to par with everyones' expectations - and those expectations are a great system and nice stages/decorations.

I completely dig the lineup for this event but all the prior experiences with Solid's last few events are now making me skeptical about wanting to see some of my favorite DJs/artists...

I concur. I'm not even going to buy a ticket. I'll leave it to the day of, or almost before. Look at Doom's, people were stuck selling tix for $40-$60 a piece.

I have a feeling the turn out for this rave will even be less than Doom's, as it always seems to be the case.

its New Years! there will be lots of people there regardless... plus its a reason to spend a few extra $$ to go out.

But most clubs on NYE charge more for cover, and most people end up spending a lot more money on booze at clubz on NYE b/c it's NYE! The only cheaper alternative to getting wasted is a house party, and I think countdown will be a lot more exciting at the rave.

Sorry haven't had the time to check on the forums since we're out of town until Wednesday. Rest assure, there will be tickets available in the stores by Wednesday. The ticket prices will be cheaper than ticketmaster.ca since we had only left a limited amount of tickets through Ticketmaster.

Regards to the decorations and sound system, we have gone through our issues with our lights and sound company and we will improve from our last event's production.
