flight from edmonton to vancouver is only about 1 hour.... realistically it can be done.... To give you an example... Tiesto Played in Boston and then in Montreal for NYE... Superstar DJ's have amazing teletransportation technique's :p

Stage 2: Omega Image has been on the block since millenium rocking it all of the biggest shows in vancouver including ones back in the day at the Plaza of Nations. Soma is one of my favourite breaks dj's and if you haven't heard of him, download some of his numerous sets. Stim J is all over the city with LCU and his hippity hop And Avg. Citiz is popular as well with Silverwaters and all that they do.

Stage 3: DJ Wax is a DMC Champion. No name? I think not. Then there are 3 Twisted Prod. veterans, Tazix (who used to spin trance and has opened for at least 5 of the top 7 trance dj's of the world. now he spins great proggy house), Greg C. (the man, the legend), and Hirshee (spinning with Jeff D. both of whom don't need introductions for their expertise in house music).

Stage 4: Here is where the melting pot turns into a shit mix with a bunch of local talent. A great selection of up and coming dj's, most of which have played at the colliseum before. And all of which are stoked to play at IMF. There are trance, house, hip hop, breaks, dnb dj's. So though we don't all fit into 1 genre, we at least specialize in what we play. So if you haven't heard of us. Get your ass to the 4th stage and give us a taste.

and how do you think these headliners made it to where they are, they were supported by the people in thier home towns when they were just locals. and that in turn gave the the drive to keep going and eventually pump out some crazy tracks and now they're huge. or whatever the scenario is, but they sure didn't get to be headliners cuz people bitched and they never got a chance to play ever.

definitely. But dj's only get popular when people spread the word to their friends on their own. when you become a household name in your genre you can't help but get known. Oh yeah, i like breaks. You know a dj from vancouver named B-Funk? yeah, I like his style. MUCH MORE than that DJ Kao clown. Though kao is much better looking. =j
